You mentioned you for git your 260's and brought fishing wire... last last resort when you tie your balloons leave enough neck slack so you can tie the clusters together. I had to do that when I ran out mid set-up.
@ThePartyThieves2 жыл бұрын
we find that tying the necks of the balloons together saves a lot of time and materials. balloon brands that have the longest necks are, Kalisan and Tuftex. hopefully this helps. oh also, tying the necks together saves you in materials. not having to use 260s or fishing wire. much love !

Can you share or do a video of when and how you started to build your inventory? It seems overwhelming for a beginner as to know what's important and how much to have on hand.
@PartyCandy3 жыл бұрын
Most of my "inventory" are balloons left over from previous events or colors that I order extra of because I use them a lot (white, black, gold, silver, etc.). If you are just starting out I wouldn't waste your money over ordering and just order as you take on clients and over time you will build up an inventory!

It varies but it's all personal judgment. If you have time to order things, take on the client. If it'll be a rush let them know there will be a rush fee involved.

Hello, how many hours in advance do you think the balloons can be blown up for the garland ?
@PartyCandy3 жыл бұрын
I think it depends on the brand but usually you are good a day or two before. I like to do it no more than 24 hrs before just to keep them looking as fresh as possible!

how did it feel using your car to take the balloons? i have been hesitant to start becaus ei dont have a van, i do have a suv, but everyone around me (competitors have vans and trucks)
@PartyCandy3 жыл бұрын
Don't worry about what anyone else is doing. Focus on doing a good job and enjoying the process. The van will come! I don't feel awkward at all using my own car and when I do need a van/truck for a bigger job I simply rent one. You got this!

Thank you for sharing your secrets. Most ppl don’t. I was wondering when you charge 18$ a foot for garland is that separate from the cost of supplies or is the 18$ total with extra charge for foils and Orbs? Also, do u recommend some kind is balloon shine for prepping balloons the day before ?
@PartyCandy3 жыл бұрын
Of course! Balloon shines are meant to be sprayed on once your creation is done. I would not recommend trying to handle it after it's been sprayed bc it would be a mess! $18/ft is just a rough estimate for most designs but if they are specifically requesting extras charge them accordingly.

I have a question! Do you take full payments before delivering and installing decorations? I've taken a deposit and stated that I need full payment before the event. Is that how you're supposed to do it 😂
@PartyCandy3 жыл бұрын
Yes ma'am! It's a personal preference how you do it. For me, If it's less than a week out I require full payment upfront. If it's' more than a week I only require 50% deposit to hold the date and the rest is due one week prior to event.
