I can't stop admiring the creation and sensitivity that is implicit in the artistic talent of fashion designers. This is a perfect example of how art manifests itself in clothing and how manifestations of creation can be created in jackets, dresses, skirts and shoes that transform thought and reality. I applaud Olivier for his art, for his talent that is exhibited in this very sublime and well-accomplished collection. Today I see how a concept such as asymmetry is taken to a level of extremely high complexity and beauty and, at the same time, my senses enjoy a collection full of details, textures and colors that enhance femininity and masculinity. Again Balmain unravels me and makes me fall in love.

Love love love every second of this runway show!!!! We've covered other runway shows and loved them but THIS one is BY FAR our favorite!!! The paper plane handbags, omg! Every look, accessory, background scene, camera trick, choreographed walk... every one was so great! This was such a fun show to watch!

I think due to covid a lot of fashion designers didn't feel inspired while in quarantine, leading to really basic and boring looks. On the other hand, a lot of designers seemed to have been more creative in quarantine and were given a lot of time to work on their designs. This is one of the only collections that have come out of 2020-2021 that I really like so far. I will start following this designer from now on!
