Pls put on as many games from the 1980's as possible,especially Wests,Newtown,Norths Canberra,Illawarra & any one else,remember watching games with dad when 8yo,(1982) & love this era,have footy cards the lot,especially love Saturdays on ABC love your work & dedication to the gteatest game of all - Darrin

Thank you for sharing these old footy games from the 1980’s, one of the golden eras. To be honest, I lost interest in footy after the 1995 Super League war, there’s been too many rule changes, loss of tradition etc.

Sadly Norths had too many players missing from injury leading into this important match.

You are right super league screwed things up in NRL I hope they bring back the defunct clubs instead of worrying about stuff that never existed before hopefully they bring Newtown jets and north Sydney bears 🐻 back into the NRL
