This video is Klaus Schwab propaganda central. You won't understand this from the lyrics. You must look at the metaphor and symbolism in the imagery. The first half of the video is regarding the singularity of man and machine. The artificial synthesis of Ai and homo Sapien Sapien. TBH, I never heard of Balming Tiger. I did check out a couple of their songs, very interesting. Ofc, RM is the bomb. I appreciate the unique sound. It's not the normal HipHop or even K-HipHop vibe. Old skool grudge yet sexy. The bass and the beat are super dope. So good. I'm glad I'm an open minded person. I love this collab. RM gave his own flare and blended well. And RM on a Bike looking like a gansta boss! 💜🥰

The best reaction to this video I've watched! The song is amazing and I think the video is a bit of a masterpiece, as well. I was hooked from the minute I heard that bass line for the first time. I was mesmerized on first listen to this both by the song and the video. I watched the video drop for RM, but started looking up Balming Tiger and listened to their songs and videos. They are so my vibe. I thought the same as you with Balming Tiger/Tiger Balm as I did feel their music/artistry was like Tiger Balm (in the best way) for me. Balming Tiger has a new follower in me. This was such a harmonic collab. This song is on repeat for me. If this is any indication of what's to come for RM's solo album, I think I will be blown away. I have to agree he don’t do this style of rapping anymore and I love it when it make a comeback! His versatility and talent to compliment Balming Tiger vision/style is pure genius. Also like art where he embrace his role as art patron he too uplift artist (which is literally unheard of cause big popular artist usually collab with bigger/same level as them) RM make a way for Balming Tiger their first hit & wider audience to get to know them ... it's very heartwarming to see a great artist/group gained recognition and visibility through Namjoon, a great artist who's very firm in supporting arts of all form.

Balming Tiger is amazing!! 🤯 I saw them live in Amsterdam last May and their energy is one of a kind. I read once they got their name from tiger balm, and like the smell of tiger balm they want their music to smack you in the face. their vocals consist of singer/rapper ‘bj wnjn’ (deep voice, chorus), rapper ‘omega sapien’ (green hair), rapper ‘mudd the student’ (bowl cut) and singer ‘sogumm’ (female singer not in this song). Definitely check out more of them and their solo work. they mainly make rap and alternative K-pop but also a lot more cool and/or experimental stuff. They have some videos online called “The Tiny Tour: Online Concert” and Wing Cypher, it has a lot of their group and individual music in them!!!! including their most popular tracks: JUST FUN!, LOOP?, kolo kolo and Armadillo.

I think if you review his past collab/feat/solo work, you see Namjoon always collabs outside the idol realm. Balming Tiger is pretty much the type of music I've expected him to go for in chapter 2, they pretty niche genre wise & basically more on the experimental indie hip-hop wise, but if you like to give a listen to another song by them - Namjoon recommended the song "Just Fun!" in the past. also I don't know if you noticed/checked out it later on but the MV have references to bunch of movies like Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance & Clockwork Orange

Ive watched & listened to this so much & rvery time Mudd the student part was so interesting to me , the most probably, 2nd fav part. Rm is my first, might be biased but as a fan of BTS & his rap and his style this was impressive to me. How well he fit with Balming tiger who themselves said that that no one really understands their music & style yet they were impressed when RM sent his verse. That might sound confusing, cause I also think RM rap wasn’t out of the world, especially compared to his other ones, but they meant that as in how he fit in so well to their style without being overwhelming or underwhelming. Really Impressive and so happy this collab happened. Personally never heard of Balming tiger, heard it wasn’t like a kpop group or anything, sort of like a group of producers and stuff, not completely sure. But this was so fire and I completely understand why RM collabed with them for sure 🔥

I hate when new fans (fans that came after Rap Monster's prime), try to tell OG ARMYs "Stop calling him Rap Monster" because they do not understand that his rawness and deliverly at that time, is the main reason that a lot of us fell in love with BTS. Every group has rappers, but only BTS has one that lives up to his stage name (Rap Monster). Notice he did not completely change his name because "RM" is short for Rap Monster, so I think that is stillsuch a big part of his journey and who he really is as an artist. People who missed their hip hop eras won't fully understand how refreshing this collab is.
