Yep. Out of work, aged 58. I've applied for jobs, no one even looks past my age, I'm sure of it. I get no benefits - simply told I'm not eligible. That's all the answer I get, not eligible. 2 weeks ago, my 29 year old son lost his job. He will have to wait about 2 months before he gets his first Universal Credit claim. In the meantime, all 3 of us live off my husband's state pension. That's the only money coming in.

My 93 grandmother went into hospital for a stomach infection, they told me she would be discharged home tomorrow to me and my dad. The next morning I had a phone call from the hospital informing me that the nurses found my grandmother on the floor lying face down, horrendous amount of blood and bleeding on the brain! They sent her home to us and she passed away a couple of days later. We’re still in shock as I was out walking with my Nan 20 times a day, she was very active and neighbours still keep stopping me and saying their in shock as they always seen us out walking. I can’t forgive the NHS

Starmer unable to define what working class is when he's the leader, of what is commonly considered the party that represents us, pretty much sums him up. Also why is there always this great assumption that anyone that is working class, and by that I mean people like me who work in construction or factories, car repair, trades, or physical types of work etc, have a sense of belittlement, that all we desire is to claw our way out of the pit and become professionally qualified, I have a couple of friends that have professional jobs, they both work more hours and earn less than me, and I enjoy my job they don't. I have good workmates, a decent wage, granted not everyone has but this overall opinion that doing work like that is just not good enough shouldn't be coming from the head of the Labour party. Their priorities used to be getting decent pay and conditions for people in working class jobs.

My son was 16 and didn’t get to take his exams, had zoom lessons at college. Missed out on all that precious socialising at that key age ! They are all behind , and crippled by anxiety! It’s heartbreaking to witness them lose all faith in humanity . We all need peace and quiet ! We all need to be kinder in this bonkers , bat shit world ! Doctors get paid for giving flu jabs. Money talks. My 87 year old mum who suffers with anaemia had blood taken at her GPS. We went back for test results and her blood count was so low she needed a blood transfusion immediately. The nurse said 'we have made her a telephone appt. for next Friday'? I stood my ground but she wouldn't budge. I took her home then made phonecalls. Our out of hours GP phoned to say she needed to go hospital immediately. We sat for hours. She was taken into a cubicle and the doctor told how ill she was. I knew that having retired from the NHS. She was given platelets and 2 pints of blood. That was 2 years ago and at nearly 90 goes shopping 6 days a week. The NHS is dying!!!
