I had to add quite a bit of nose weight...formed sheet lead below engine and under radiator area.

I ordered a master set of plans for a WWI Bristol Scout from England quite a few years ago for 35 british pounds ($50 American). The plans were sent from Australia to England to me. Cost more than I care to remember.

zimmerman in germany is where you need to look. and you could just cut that cast and weld it be so much easier

Hey, Your going to need to add nose weight. Just keep that in mind! Also at one time Hooby King had a muffler you could buy, I didn't buy one but often wished I did just to check it out. I built mine from copper!

I cheated. I am finishing up the Hanger 9 1/4 scale DVII I bought in 2019. ARF is well designed and I would recommend it. Biggest complaint is no TE scalloping. I bet a great builder like this guy could find a way to fix that without ripping all the covering off the wings.
