Their clothing and band structure is very Khruangbin. The vibes are similar in music style but not at the same time. BALSTHVA is so dope! I need them in the world. Khru didn't invent their music style. They simply brought it into consciousness with their take on it. The Khru band is a melding of various rock, jazz, psychedelic funk, with ethnic tones, riffs, vocals and percussion(s), all of intertwining their own flavor, Balsthva is doing the same and they're so good at it. They will evolve and become more amazing. Dope vibes, I would love to hangout with BALSTHVA. ❤

Started some time ago with Khruangbins live at kexp (i think) and a few moments ago discovered your band and really like your vibes, i think its not necessary to compare your music to Khruangbin or any other band cos your music is special itself (made by yourself so in fact you're the music), many (if not all) musicians take inspirations from others and this is the soul of music so keep doing your groovy stuff :)

Your advert in Alternet news site caught my attention with the "Jazz is Dead" (fyi) title, and I'm glad I investigated. Great infectious groove saturation stuff. Getting nostalgic for my Santana and yes: "Jazz Fusion" phase growing up in the 70s. Reminds me of another 'new' (to/for me. Rare as I get older) favorito: The Dutch/Turkish fusion group Alton Gun. I ditto the "Surf" music reference as well. Fantastic original music. The references are meant as a compliment.
