Well, it’s actually a ‘new’ kit for me, but it’s not really that new, since it’s been built around the year 1985 in England. You see, you’re not the only crazy collector in this world… 🤣🤣🤣 I’m just a sucker for musical instruments, and especially those from the 80’s, my favourite decade in music, movies, TV shows and many other ways. My KORG keytars you were talking about last week are from exactly the same era (built around 1984 in Japan). It’s just the greatest thing for me being able to perform my favourite music from that era using the original instruments. I’m glad you enjoyed this one, it really means a lot to me! I‘ve even got two Simmons bass drum pads, but I‘m still looking for a pair of the original bass drum legs In order to make this a proper double bass kit. Maybe I can try and take a picture of the whole kit including the bass drum pad sometime, but it’s not easy to get everything on one photo since it’s that big. ^^ I’ll see what I can do in the next few weeks.
