Baltimore is one of my favourites, but then, I love them all. Angel of Montgomery is another special one. I especially like the line about "the flies in the kitchen, I can hear them a buzzin', cause I ain't done nothing, since I woke up today". My friends & I used to call it the "Flies in the Kitchen" song cause we couldn't remember the name of the song.

Cora Bezemer. So sad that we just lost John Prine to corona. That line about the flies in the kitchen is so evocative. The Train introduced me to Prine. He was a genius.
