How I wish peter boulware could have played with ray lewis, and suggs, until that season when ray retired. I loved watching him play, him and lewis were unstopable, here is the 3-4 defense, but he used to play SAM in the 4-3 next to ray... Damn I miss the old days

Man Ray Lewis was scary. He was a very fast LB during the day.

Coach, I play outside linebacker for my school. This video really is helping me on my guard to tackle reads. Do you have anymore of these videos?

Awesome! But where is the sound Coach? Ray Lewis had incredible speed to make those plays. That D-line kept those LB's free to make plays! Coach, what do you think are the main ingredients to making the 3-4 Defense successful?

I dont have anymore videos like this, however there are other sources that can help. I would tell you that film study of your opponent is the best way at getting good with G/T reads. There stance, when they lean back, when they widen out, some O-linemen actually lean to where they are pulling, or look to where they are pulling.

Thanks for the comments. There is a powerpoint that goes with the videos. If you can send me your email address I will get it to you. It does make the video much better. The defense becomes easier to understand. Easier to add ideas on top of who you may already do.

I'm thinking Rex and the Bills, with Ed Reed now as an assistant coach too, will be running much of this same dominant style of defense. Sure, Preston Brown is no Ray Lewis, and Reggie Ragland is just a rookie {albeit a highly touted rookie from Alabama} but with the big dogs BUF has up front in Marcel Darius, Kyle Williams, and Jerry Hughes, BUF's LB's should have plenty of room to roam and run free to the ball. LET'S GO BUFFALO BABY !!!!

Dont have much. But I do have a powerpoint that describes what you see in the video. You will be surprised at how simple that it is. Will try and email it to you by Monday. Hope that it helps.

Hey coach great vid, really good seeing my 2 favorite players, Ray Lewis & Ed Reed, at their prime. Ray lewis has been my idol since i was 6 because i just love the way he plays and Ed and I play the same position and i feel he is the best to ever do it and this video really gave me some insight into what he sees and he reads qbs. If u could send me the powerpoint at... the1dyante@aol.com.. It would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to understand the defense better to get a better ide
