Found this figure in Target along with Jetfire yesterday, by the way the chest pieces do tab into the center sternum piece also the legs aren't oriented properly and you didn't tab in the gray part to the outer portion of the leg it gives it a more solid stance, also his gun can be held in the other hand just use the tab into one of the slots in the thumb, Jesus Christ man what did you do to your Revenge of the Fallen Megatron why are his legs backwards?

The "Studio Series" tag kinda bothers me on this line... some of the figures counterparts become irrelevant, it's a double cash-grab with interest and honestly, the effort should have been there to begin with. They've been making bots long enough. That being said, I really like this version of Megatron. I think it looks badass and the wonky parts don't matter if you're just displaying like most ppl. Great look at the toy, thanks!

Designers back in 2007 to 2014 weren't as good as they are now. Different people, with new tricks, plus different size classes for more budget, in the case of Blackout and this Megatron.

@@notsoalex I mean yes thats very true overall but for these figures i dont see much that couldnt have been acheived back then. The misaligned parts here dont help the argument. Thats just me though. But in a broad sense you are correct.

@@danielgray2909 It's also worth mentioning that a lot of the previous figures were designed without finalized designs/renders available for them. A lot of them worked off early renders and concept art, so Studio Series has been an opportunity to redo some. Also there's the argument of trying to solidify a general scale, but that depends on how much you care about their screen accurate sizes (and honestly some still can't be since Grimlock and the Dinobots would probably need to be Titan class for that to be accurate).

Well the head did heal around the eye socket in the movie, and that weapon is held that way in the movie. It’s some kind of two handed rifle. This looks good, but I prefer my Megatron to not have an Earth Mode other than a military vehicle. Those cubes for legs don’t look so pleasing through a screen though. I’m sure it’s better in hand.

I would definitely give this figure an E for Effort. DotM Megatron was always going to be an engineering nightmare. Hopefully we'll get an MPM version of this character, but until this I think this one is definitely serviceable.
