Much better than the new Automatone which just hisses, and has motorized faders, at 900 USD. This one nails it better!

how about a tr909 demo? It's quite difficult to find a modern reverb that sits well on the 909. (or acoustic hats for that matter)

How is this compare to Strymon's Big Sky or Eventide unit? Anyone out there with both that can please give some comparisons.
@bitspacemusic8 жыл бұрын
Neither of those is trying to emulate 70s or 80s limited reverbs. I have Big Sky and it sounds very high end. BAM sounds more like the records I grew up with :)
@xaqary7 жыл бұрын
Yup, I had a Big Sky- it’s beautiful & very “high quality” sounding reverb VS the OTO. I sold the Big Sky. Kept the OTO. I’d love both but for my buck I’m sticking with the OTO.

And here comes the impertinent question : Does it have the Quantec Room Simulator Algo? Of the early 80s? If it has I am sold, but have yet to hear it. And...I really wanted it as a foot pedal, with switches on...but nice sounding anyways. Very much so. But as it is, I have yet to see anyone stuffing down QRS algorithm to a stompbox. I would be first in line...
