I was a little sad about the style change too, but the art style of the WEBTOON changed around this point as well. So they may have been just trying to keep it consistent with that.

I usually hate when people compare seasons like OPM but this one was apt and I think there's a yay or nay. I am for the yay side because of what you just said about it being like the webtoon. I still love this show and never dock it for that aspect.

Its been 6 years since the events of the first season. The webtoon establishes this straight away so I'm interested in why the anime didn't either. I think the artstyle change is keeping in line with how the artstyle of the webtoon constantly changes and evolves each season. For example, webtoon season 1's drawings were... amateurish. They were rough and not refined which I think the anime did well capturing. Webtoon Season 2's art is a major improvement from the first which looks like they're kinda trying to emulate with this change too. Looking forward to future reactions. Anime onlys are in for a solid season if they continue to do justice to the webtoon.

Generic is a good way of putting the new art/animation style. I'll get used to it pretty easily though since the combat seems nice and fluid (thankfully).

Personally, I much prefer the new art style. As someone who had read the webtoon after that scene happened with Bam the artstyle changed in the manhwa as well and looks more polished.

On the Manhwa, they never said who he was until many episodes later. On the anime they made it very obvious with that flashback he had.. kinda disappointed with that

It's the same, nothing added in as of now outside of outfit changes from what I can see.

@@sammysandy It’s not the same. Read the manhwa and you see there was never a flashback when he got hit with the Wangnan bombs. (He did get stunned but didn’t shown a flashback) Also they removed the bath scene in the 2nd episode, but all in all mostly everything follows the manhwa
