I really enjoy your videos. With all your fish stockings, I think you will eventually have a freshwater mussel population in your pond. Mussels come in attached to fish gills as larvae because they are parasitic on fish at that point in their life cycle. Once they transform on the fish, they drop off and fall to the bottom. It might make a great video to snorkel with a GoPro and look for any mussels living on the bottom. The adults partially bury themselves, but you can usually see part of the shell and the siphons working as they filter feed. But oh, I just saw the snail crawl across the camera lens. If they are thriving, mussels will too.

Happy Father's Day! I suggest Mystery as the name for Truman's buddy. P.S. leave 1-2 tomato Horn worms on the plants. A Parasitoid wasp will lay 30-40 eggs on the worms body, as the eggs grow they will eat the worm killing it and starting a new generation of wasps for next years crop. The wasps will not sting or bite to people.

In my area the eagle/osprey nests are built with a 6 “ high railing around the platform. It helps keep the sticks from blowing off the platform in high winds. Once the birds have the first couple layers of sticks they start poking them into the cracks between boards.

For the tiny house in the tree, you could rebuild the door, extending it a little like a tunnel, making it flexible and with variable width, to make like a reverse eel trap, so that it'll be much easier to exit than to enter. That will make sure that any racoon, or whatever gets in, doesn't get trapped and can make it out safely
