I immediately knew where you were when you were going by the Galvez ramp spot. 3 mile has been pretty slow lately. Where you were at around the Pickens area, there are some crazy deep holes and more manmade structure than I can disclose. I've caught some of my biggest red snapper and gag grouper around there than I have offshore in the past few years. Would love to put a trip together and I can show you exactly how we do it

I'm suprised you need to buy a seperate license for FL. Here in CT we have what's called the reciprocal law or something like that, that allows the neighboring states to fish our waters and vise versa as long as you have your saltwater license for your said state. And even elephants eat peanuts.
