As hard and rather difficult this way of life may be (from making sure that so many mouths are properly fed to having lots of work to do even when expecting to get into labour soon), all I see in the end is children glowing with happiness that know how to care for others and show respect to any creature, making their parents happy and proud! If only us city people could have the opportunity to offer at least a 10% of this experience to ourselves and our children... 🙄 No matter if the baby is a boy or a girl, I'm pretty sure that her brothers will take good care of it! 🤗😄 Wishing a safe labour to Becky! Hugs and kisses to the little boys of yours!

@heatherrowles25805 жыл бұрын
Um....suggestion from an Aussie? Dont get into emus until you know what they are like as adults. The males can be EXTREMELY aggressive during mating season and theyre not overly fussy about species if you catch my drift. A fully grown emu can do some serious damage to a human, up to and including death.....

@Babylon falling they can do.....I actually find it horrifying that elsewhere Australian native species are treated like house pets......here in Australia, without special permits, you would be arrested for it......EVERY part of raising emus this way is wrong. Emu chicks are raised by their fathers, and educated in how to be good emus......being raised in isolation, as these chicks are being raised, could lead to major problems as they grow larger....including, but not limited to, sexual aggression and they are more than capable as adult birds of killing an adult male human, let alone those little kids.
