Bamboo Shelter On a Tiny Island..

Yindi is back on another adventure 🐶😀 This trip we build a bamboo shelter on a tiny island in my home town river and catch a couple of great feeds 🔥 Such Great fun !! Chris, after years of loving the way you bring the simple wonder of our deeper world to us I believe I have found my favourite in this latest epic, what a tale you have told!!! The wonderful messages of our world, it doesn’t feel guilty about the weather it provides us so we should stop feeling aggrieved and just get out there and embrace it and the new feeling of life you earn from that. Your evident love and wonderful care and relationship with your charismatic pup and the love he has for you. Your fantastic demonstration of what can be done by a bit of effort, a bit of creativity, a bit of engineering and a bit of daring in your construction and cooking, etc. Your wonderful attitude to sustainability and the respect you have for every creature you encounter. That you do all this using the 80% of communication that is non verbal and you make each episode so full of love, learning and life. That speaks nothing about the technical professionalism you have developed over years of dedication to improving the viewer experience often at the cost of your own. In my mind Chris you are the benchmark and a true treasure in our world. And your music taste which is a carbon copy of my own, so each soundtrack to your adventures I love. I really like the idea of making a comfortable camp in an unhospitable spot. It's very similar to the platform you made in the mangroves. This one is also awesome! I personally dont like people camping on top of me and this type of campsite solves THAT problem!

Another great trip mate. Fishing was good. That was a nice Flatty you caught finished off with crabs always good . I loved the synchronised yawning between yourself and the mighty mastiff in the morning . The camp looked a little easier to set up than the one you built in the swamp that time 😂. Once again thanks for us along for the trip. Take it easy.

Another great video Chris, good release of that cracking Dusky you caught. I’m surprised that no one saw your structure and rang the fun police ( Maritime) and they told you to pull it down because you didn’t have a permit to build a structure on the waterway 😂. yeah, that's a fantastic way to camp ive got the same tarp as yours , that wobble wasn't happy with you lol, your dog is great to have along with you always look forward to seeing him or her. the rays looked tasty and what a great idea with the small kettle BBQ loving it . the platform wow great build, and wow your a great shot with the gun AND the hand spear all in all 11/10 thx once again criss for shearing you journey with us all hope one day to bump into you and have a yarn thx mate .

Always jealous of you guys on the coast catching all manner of yummy creatures to cook up. Compare that to the inland areas. Can’t kill a possum, can’t kill a roo, can’t kill a emu. But we can buy the meat at a market and take it with us to cook. Great video man thanks for sharing
