I really enjoyed this, I recently bought a double bass after playing the bass guitar for years and years. I already knew most of what you showed from experience but never knew the actual theory behind it. I was wondering if you had tips for finding the notes, I've played on a fretless bass guiar, but it was marked and I could still feel them under my fingers. Between the complete lack of markings and the longer scale length(and not being able to put 1 finger per "fret") I'm having trouble locating notes correctly without adjusting my hand constantly. Or is this just a more practice thing?

I'm really glad you enjoyed the video! I've been considering doing a video on this myself, but I learnt a lot from Geoff Chalmers on my left hand technique, on his channel, Discover Double Bass. Check out this video for some tips and I'll try cover something in the near future! Keep bassing RJ ;) kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2S0oaqXariZa8k
