2:20 What's that door for? I tried opening it on my P1S, but it felt a bit stuck somehow, and I didn't want to break it. BTW, for those who are interested in the P1S: It's amazing. Keep in mind, my previous (and only) printer was an Ender 2 that I modified quite heavily myself. It is pretty darn loud, but what do you expect for a machine printing at these speeds. Printing on my Ender 2 was a TASK. I had to constantly level while printing the first layer, had to monitor the first couple of layers, and even then it took forever to print small things. After printing for about 20 hours on my P1S, I haven't had a single failure, and am plenty comfortable to just hit print and know that I can expect a good result. Another thing I didn't expect: Supports are amazing. On my Ender 2 I avoided them at all costs, since they either didn't work, or were so stuck on they were permanent parts of the model. The supports on the P1S just pop right off, some even fall off by themselves. This machine (and probably all Bambu printers) are seriously plug-n-play. Like said in the video: I didn't do any (manual) calibration or anything, I literally plugged it in and started the benchy, and it came out perfect.

I`m running into issues trying to connect the phone to the printer it`s stuck in the building connection screen and I've tried restarting it and repairing the printer. any ideas of what to do or how to get it to work?

I seriously considering getting the X1-Carbon but if this P1S is the same minus touch screen a few leveling AI, is it better to save and get this?

It all depends what your plans are. If you need another printer for production and only print with PLA then the P1S is a great pick. The camera on the X1C is a lot better, so if you’re a content creator or plan on using time-lapse videos to promote your business then the X1C is the better pick. You can also print more types of filament with the X1C. I personally think every farm should have at least one X1C. I already have one, so now I’m buying P1S’s because they’re better value for prototyping & production.

How good it works with PLA? It have an enclosure and PLA is not good with enclosure, does all the fans help with the heat inside?

It prints great with PLA, the filament used in this video was PLA. I print with PLA on my X1C and it prints great on that printer too.

Torn between this P1S(with hot end and extruder upgraded to hardened steel ones) and the X1C.. Totally newbie in 3D printing, is the price difference worth it ? Is the CPU more powerful on X1C make a huge benefit ? What would be your advice ? AMS essential for a beginner..? Thanks in advance

all bambu range is beginner friendly, p1s is the best option imo, ams only if you wanna print multiple materials, i wouldn't pay extra persoanlly all about if you want touch screen and faster print uploads

There are a few small differences between the X1C and P1S, which are mostly "convenience" upgrades/nice-to-haves and not something that'll increase print quality or speed (except for the lidar maybe, but from what I know the difference is negligible and can easily be tuned by hand), but imo they are not worth the price difference. The main differences are plastic sides instead of aluminum, no lidar, no hardened extruder gears (which is a ~$20 upgrade), worse camera, worse screen (which you can use the handy app for everything), the bed only goes up to 100C instead of 120C (which should be fine for most filaments, but that depends on what you are/planning on printing), and no chamber temperature sensor.

Yep I agree. I've had a pei plate on my prusa for years and I spray some kitchen roll with alcohol and rub the plate over. Never have any adhesion problems so you'll be fine..
