I have one. Sigh.. Honestly it’s a bit awkward, very top-heavy, Spills accident prone (cable between my work area to the electrical wall outlet will knock things over). the ON button is so sensitive you can easily accidentally turn on the unit and spray all the kitchen, It’s only easy to clean if you wash it immediately! You can’t put it in the dishwasher But, as a hand blender when it’s blending it’s wonderful, powerful, capable and fast. I haven’t tested all hand blenders but I’m guessing this blends the best It definitely lasts longer than anything else on the market, that’s Swiss quality right there!! CONCLUSION It’s like being in a very bad destructive abusive relationship but the sex is really amazing! And for that reason only, i recommend you buy one

I don't know of too many electrical appliances that can be put in the dishwasher.

@@HotVoodooWitch Most blenders have detachable attachments that are dishwasher safe. The motor or electric components are not dishwasher safe with any blender. Look the Bamix is solid, keeps going and going, and is incredibly capable , I HIGHLY recommend getting one regardless of some of my criticisms.

Shocking to think that a native English speaker (or at least, someone with a very good grasp of the language) would accept good money to do a voiceover, without challenging the appalling translation. Bamix is a good product. You can do better than this with your English-language marketing!

I agree. This could have been really useful, but the mangled translation means you have to work hard to understand what they are trying to explain. If you are a novice cook the audio hinders rather than helps.

@@annoni-mouse318 a most enthusiastic +1. Bamix’s marketing in the U.S. is appalling; call them and you get offshore idiots who can’t explain anything. No accessories either. I suspect they do a better job in the UK but they seem to be intent on sabotaging themselves in North America. Gone are the days of Ocean Sales and Pleasant Hill Grains.

@@annoni-mouse318 I agree the translation is poor, and the speaker obviously knew that it was, but maybe he was just told to read the script and not challenge it. Either way, it hardly "means you have to work hard" to understand - if you think the audio hinders rather than helps, try turning it off and see if you understand better. No? Thought so...

Yes. But this is sort of how the Swiss speak, I lived in Switzerland for 5 years - it’s a likely a pretty accurate translation, I do agree with this comment!as boring as it sounds, many Swiss do speak in a simple ‘straight to the point’ plain way. This is also charming and I love love love my Swiss mates, best mate anyone could wish for! Back to the translation. At one point in the video, after the chef simply grated carrots, he says, “there’s nothing else to now but savour the carrots”. Really? Nothing else? I can think of many things to do before “savouring” plain grated carrots😂

*sigh* I wish the red Swissline were available in North America.

The problem is that we have to use special material for our blender, which will be shipped to the USA. And the red colour is not available with this material, unfortunately.

:`(( Thank you so much for replying. Bamix and I are the same age! Didn't you used to ship red to Canada several years ago? I have no problem buying from our friends to the north--that's what everyone did anyway when Ocean Sales was your sole North American source. I wish I'd bought one then! We have some extremely silly legislation here but I guess you already knew that.

Yes, in the past were the red models available in Canada. But now, it is not allowed anymore as you supposed. I am very sorry. We hope that the US legislation will change once or we will find another solution for the material we have to use for US models.

From your mouth to G_d's ear. It's ridiculous. Color is fun! As silly as it sounds, each of my high-end appliances, unless they're all stainless, is a different, vibrant color. Color-coordination be damned--I like to mix it up!

We know this problem, but as I already said at the moment we have not found another solution for this problem. But of course, we are working on this issue.
