The brother was supposedly the first kill, so William Afton hadn't fully developed a style or signature for his kills. He probably disposed of the body more efficiently. stashing the bodies in the animatronics was both quick cause he worked there, and a bit of a trophy for him. It wasn't until the kids began possessing the animatronics that he realized he could control them. In the games, the kids go after all the security guards and are hostile to all adults. Great reaction!!

The movie was more made with fans of the games in mind, so it's understandable you'd be confused. That's also why the critical reception of the movie is very low, this is a movie for FNaF fans who understand the references and the lore. But, you still caught on to a lot more things than the average viewer that knows nothing about FNaF does, so you can be proud! 💜😭

She says "Pictures hold a tremendous power for children. images are the most important tool we have for understanding the world around us.". The picture of the Springbonnie holding hands with the children made the children think that he was there to protect them and be their friend. but when Abby redrew Springbonnie attacking them. They then understood his true nature and tried to end him.

the five nights at freddy's lore is extensive, complicated, messy, and barely revealed in the games LMAO the movie was definitely made for fans of the series who were very much involved in the online fandom as it grew, so pieces of lore that are well known in the fandom were left out. for example, "steve raglan" (known as william afton in the games) also *owned* freddy fazbear's pizza. i'm glad you liked the movie though, even as someone who doesn't know all of the lore! sincerely, someone who literally grew up with fnaf lol

just to explain the "it's me" written on the mirror, it's a reference to the first game, where you can get a rare screen while playing thats just that message flashing on your screen for a second, its golden freddy saying it (the blonde boy in the movie)

So Brad, as a FNAF fan, there is a lot missing from the movie. Which, to be fair, there are 10 main games, DLC and I've lost count how many books now. And a lot of times the story isn't told to you directly, you have to figure it out by connecting clues and tidbits from all the different media. This is part of why the movie seems a bit lacking, there is a long, complex story that they tried to smush all together into a movie that would still be watchable for the people that don't know all the lore. I do recommend playing the game(s), but if you want to know the full story, I would recommend watching a lore video. The Game Theorists' channel and ID's Fantasy both have pretty good ones.

Apparently while filming the movie some people said only one of the actual robots moves on its own.. The bunny (Bonnie),bear (Freddy), and duck (Chica) where all basically costumes for actors. The fox also known as Foxy was the only one that was fully a robot and it moved on its own during the filming on set
@JoseNate Жыл бұрын
They all can move on their own I believe. There are 2 versions of bonnie, freddy and chica: one costume and one animatronic. Cause some movements couldn’t be made by a person in a suit, so they had to make animatronic versions as well. I think there were like 16 controllers used per suit to make them move!

I don't know if it's true but I've read somewhere that Vanessa supposedly saw the murders happen when she was a child. So my guess is that she was controlled and manipulated like the animatronics. I just wish we saw more of her backstory. I hope the second movie does so we'll have more context for why she made certain decisions. I don't think she had a great relationship with her father. Since William Afton is a bad father in the games.

I think you missed the part where Vanessa explained that the cops searched the place for evidence that her father was the killer, so he put the bodies of the children in the animatronics, to hide them. The cops went over every inch of the place but it never occurred to them to check the animatronics. The father was abusive and controlling and Vanessa wasn't able to go against him, until he threatened Abby. Also, I don't know if you caught it, but the child Vanessa in the photo that she showed Mike was holding Garret's toy plane. The one that he had with him when he was kidnapped. And, yes, a lot of people who have majorly traumatic experiences have memory loss about it. They can't really handle the horrible experience and the mind shuts down. Sometimes the memories come back and sometimes they don't. That's a real thing.

Hey Brad, loved your reaction, you did really well at guessing the twists lol. Just to explain the yellow rabbit costume, in the games William Afton (aka Raglan) ran his first restaurant with his business partner Henry Emily, and they invented a type of suit called Springlocks. Basically a normal person could wear it when the mechanical arms were clamped back, but the animatronic could work without anyone inside if the arms were active. William always wore the yellow rabbit suit (aka Springbonnie) and it became a huge part of how he viewed himself and his persona. So when he started killing, the suit was his MO. Like Raglan said, he's a sentimental guy, which is why he wears it at the end to try and kill Mike. Hope this explains it :)

summarised as much as possible: william afton is the main child killing villain. his first victim is his business partners daughter charlotte emily (1983) whose soul goes into a puppet doll. on his sons birthday they go to the pizzeria (which the kid hates) and his older brother michael afton (later becoming the security guard under the alias mike schmidt) decides to be a terrible big brother and picks him up (sobbing atp) and puts his head into the mouth of golden freddy (a springlock animatronic sensitive to moisture) and it malfunctions chomping down on his head and killing him (bite of 83). william keeps doing his thing making animatronics and in 1985 he lures children in the golden bonnie suit and kills them, puts their bodies in the animatronics and their souls go in as well (aka kids in the movie). a load of other stuff happens like accidentally killing his daughter with circus baby animatronic (1986), a worker (security i think) getting his head bit too (bite of 87). anyway eventually the souls of the kids gang up on him and chase him down n he puts on golden bonnie suit (later called springtrap) as protection or sum but its a springlock suit and the moisture (probably sweat n stuff) triggers it and it clamps down on his and he (technically) dies. other things abbey doesn't exist (as far as im aware) and vanessa is a whole dif character who she comes much later. (fellow fnaf fans feel free to correct me if im wrong)

like other people said, this movie was kind of just made for the fans, so it's hard to fully grasp if you haven't been a big fan of the games and the storyline in it, but you did really good at catching on! if you do get into the games, just know what happens in this movie and the games are two completely separate storylines with not many similarities, so don't expect it to be like the movie at all lol it's wayyyy more complicated and really long the only things that overlap from the movie and the games is the basis of dead children possessing animatronics, William Afton being the murderer, and him getting spring-locked! the ghost children are entirely different kids in the games, Vanessa is a very different character with no familial relation to William, and Michael has a COMPLETELY different storyline altogether... Abby was made for the movie, she's not a character from the games (basically all the rest of the characters outside of William, Michael, and Vanessa were made up for the movie lol) anyway, really good reaction! i always love your videos

about vanessa, i guess why she didn't say anything is because she was afraid that if she told, her father (william) would como for michael knowing tha he knowns too much, as it hapenned in the end, she wasn't smart but i guess she was thinking that if he didn't know and just went trought the nights he would be fine.

Really glad you liked the movie, not a lot receive it with such positivity. As a FNaF fan, I too found the movie to be fun, even if it wasn't as scary as many wanted. It was enjoyable and entertaining to watch. On the topic of the writing, however, I have heard that the second movie's script is being rewritten by Scott Cawthon to improve it, based on the first movie's feedback. So hopefully, we can expect something written even better for the second movie, but as I say, really nice to see someone enjoying the movie! :D I wont bother explaining any of the lore, I'm sure everyone else has already done that lol.

Loved when you called the yellow rabbit the white rabbit when referring to Vanessa cause yeah… in the game Vanny (Vanessa) has a white rabbit suit. But basically to sum up. Car based child muuuuurder is the first in the timeline implying Garrett was the first nab for film Afton. In games it’s explained that the missing children’s incident involved a fazbear employee luring children to a restricted access area while wearing a golden Bonnie suit and the bodies were never found. In the games it’s kinda suggested that after afton lost his youngest son to a freak accident he blamed it on his business partner and designer of the animatronics Henry, in turn 💀-ing Henry’s daughter Charlie who most believe to be the car victim. Whether Mike’s dad was co-owner in the film leading to the nabbing of Garret is unknown really but let’s be real if your solution to anything is stuffing children’s bodies inside of audioanimatronics that entertain children I don’t really care what your motives are because they make no sense

If it had come out literally any other month of the yeard, it would've been ok, not good either just ok. But still, a FNAF movie not being a horror one is crazy XD. I think the problem was that it was supposed to be made for kids, like a kid horror movie so no scary at all basically, and i'd understand that since the games are pretty much for a younger public. 🤔

I decided to watch it as I had nothing else to really watch... as simply a casual know by ear and sight individual on the fandom and such? I was intrigued by the take of the characters and the lore behind FNAF. Disturbing to say the least... But as a creative soul myself? I could see how it has become a massively popular fandom. I first heard about it when I was working weekend overnight shifts at my local aged care facility. Worked as an AIN. (Some of my co workers were really into the games and such.) The funny thing is? Whenever I was on the floor? No one would be able to hear me coming. (I was naturally very stealthy and barely made any noise as my goal was to perform safety checks on the residents within my area with little disruption to their slumbers as possible.) So when it came to pad and medication rounds? (which is usually a 2 - 3 person assist?) I would end up scaring the absolute shit out of said co workers when they went to look for me! :D It got so frequent...? The supervising RN would either ring/page me so that the rest of the team could pin point my location.... (which got annoying so I disabled it after a while because I felt like I was being targeted unfairly.) alongside checking the security cameras to keep tabs on where I was so that the team could await for me to come to them etc. 🤣My closest co worker begged me to teach them all my "ways." meanwhile? I begged them to not be so jumpy as I wasn't going to do a single thing to them unless they proceeded to get nasty with me. 🤣 Got the nickname "Chica." (As I used sugary food to stay awake. You name it. Chocolate, biscuits .. and yes... cake... to keep my blood sugar up so I could remain functional.) They used to make fun of said fact until we actually did have a break in one night. (A drug seeking moron... which is a known risk as we do have meds on site.) They just happened to cross to the radius of my area... and with some quick thinking? Such a risk was promptly put down. (Jumped off the nurse’s station desk onto their back, placed the blood pressure cuff around their neck, inflated it halfway to induce unconsciousness then dragged them to the front entrance where the police came to collect them.) :D It was scary.. but very thrilling. Glucose and adrenaline folks... Better than any drug you could do! :D Needless to say? My team were very very grateful when I was on duty as they knew that I would always have their backs. They kept up the FNAF trope by bringing sweets as thanks for being such a great co worker! Aaaah! Good times!! xD.
