Banana Flambee!

This delicious pot in disguise, composed with a very moist banana bread, a banana spread, a layer of vanilla rice pudding, a light banana mousse, caramelized banana flambee with Rum and a delicious caramel sauce on top.
The pot lid is inflated sugar and all details are made out of chocolate.

I'm a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef who apprenticed under two master chefs and worked with two more. I have run kitchens everywhere from resorts like South Seas to hotels, restaurants, catering and even for the top grocery chain in America and without a doubt after watching this kid for over a year I don't think I have ever seen a more talented and imaginative pastry chef/chocolatier in 41 years of this industry. His designs have definitely prompted me to up my game too. Thank you, I truly enjoy your work.

I enjoyed your Netflix show. I really appreciated how you never insulted contestants and always asked if you could help them. You gave them a chance to do better. It was a unique show not just because of the chocolate displays, but you see these artistic individuals who are hard on themselves when they do not do well. And you were there to help them excel. Very refreshing show. I hope you are doing more like it!

I've watched all the reality competition shows and he was the best host for sure. I think they did not send people home right? It's always the last survivor style but this was way better. What's more impressive than the dish is the technique and creativity. You can't even claim it to be purely on the equipment as some of the chocolate shapes didn't involve them and the translucent sugar shell just used a pot, plastic wrap, and something for the shape. Very impressive.
