back in the mid-90's, my father used to play this on his cassette deck in an old el camino, driving around the city. he told me he was going away, that banana road was calling. when he left me and my mother, it was hard for us to survive, it was a different time and we didnt have a lot. now that im older, and im hearing this again, i think dad did the right thing after all. maybe ill see him on banana road some day myself...
