you jest but Hot Dad here has really earned his place as a worthy contender for such a prize, especially with such a masterpiece like I don't Have a Sense of Smell. On the surface it's a satire on 80s pop ballads, but by the end of the song it's left a near permanent etching on our 6th sense- our sense of rhythm.

I knew my biological father had lost his olfaction not very long ago due to a number of complications and him living in a big city close to avenues highly populated with cars, trucks, and other things. But knowing that THE Big Dad; the spiritual father of us all; also struggles with nasal troubles, made me heartbroken. I hope that people that come across your paths, know how to treat this barrier of yours well, and hope they're not going all like "oh, at least you can't smell shit".These people have no heart and should think before they talk, a person without a sense of smell lives a never ending fight, and deserves tons of respect. I'm sure you can overcome your difficulties and turn them into beautiful musical pieces of Immeasurable value and significance. You are a great inspiration, and may you never cease to gift the world with the wonderful music you make... Salve Pai Quente!

Ooh... Yeah, us congenital anosmics (born without a sense of smell) can be quite flippant about it, although some congenital anosmics do really struggle with it. Acquired anosmics, those who have lost their sense of smell, have a lot harder time with it, they had something and lost it and now they have to learn the world without it.

That's a nice thought but he didn't have one to lose in the first place. I have Congenital Anosmia (born without a sense of smell). There is no cure. However, a person who is an Acquired Anosmic (born with it, lost it) does have a chance of regaining their sense of smell, although that does depend on the cause and the damage done. Actually a lot of us CA's wouldn't take a cure, some of us would. I think it would be too overwhelming, personally, and I don't think I would cope well with it.
