In wrestling, we call that the spladle. Usually after opponent shoots for a single leg takedown and you let them take your leg, setting up for you to grip one of the opponent leg, while you reach over their body to grab their other leg with your arms. But don't pin yourself in the process, because your back is down too. I have seen that done when I went to High School in Black River Falls lol

I just saw this now. Electric chair usually is used for a sweep but I use it in the same way for a tap. Basically the same move from the bottom

@@AlecHooben yes, you can switch to crossback ride just like in this video and you have a variety of options from there like banana split(this video), a calf slicer or a hammer lock (shoulder lock)

I get that, but I couldnt make out his words. Plus I didnt see him tap or yell out tap at all. It's one thing for the other guy to be an ass hole, but if you dont tap that's on you. He now has one testicle attached to separate legs... He reached for his forelegs like he thinks he can just pull his legs back together.

if you're relatively flexible it doesn't. If you're not it does hurt a bunch. get a nice stretch in your upper hamstring/groin.
@bane3991
@bane3991 3 жыл бұрын
It's EXTREMELY painful. Probably the most painful technique in jiu jitsu. The pain goes away the moment they release so it's not something you'll feel the next day(unless you were hyper extended because it got put on too fast or you didn't tap out right away) but when you're in it, the pain is unbearable.
