One of my favorite Banana Splits songs! I'd love to see a "proper" CD release of all their songs. There was a CD some years ago, a "twofer" with "The Beagles", but I believe the entire thing was mastered impropoerly, the SPEED was "off", as everything sounded to me like it was runnning TOO FAST.

For those who don't know-The Banana Splits show was released on DVD in 2007 in the UK ONLY (Region 2). It generally won't play in your average DVD player-but there are ways(if you have a dvd burner on your computer you can get DVD ripping software that can remove the codes). Also-these are the syndicated half hour versions of the season 1 episodes-as this is how the show was seen in the UK. Warner Brothers "supposedly" is having issues recreating the original hour long version of the show as the master elements are not in the best of shape and, with the demise of DVD sales, it's unlikely to happen. There are some clips of Season 2 on youtube. I don't know where they came from, but they mostly look and sound great. Enjoy them while you can. No doubt someone will take them down.

A blue-screen type of Chroma Key was used in the 1960's and 1970's and was something of a norm in film and TV production(s) back then. This was before green screens and CGI effects came into being in later years. To me, this looks like Snorky's costume had some sort of red undertones (I'm not exactly a master of special visual effects, mind you) or the editor wasn't able to properly correct the parts where Snorky appeared during this segment
