I remember when a kid and I saw this on TV, I told my parents I wanted the Banana Splits music thing for Christmas, sure enough, the next Christmas I got a "Banana Split Record Player" I was heartbroken. The Record player was nice, but it wasn't this, and how do you explain to a 7 year that this doesn't exist? My family still picks on me about that Christmas.

You can get the entire season 1 on DVD now in R2 and R4 formats. I own the R2/R4 DVD set. This set has the 18 hour shows cut up into 36 30-minute shows. But don't be sad. This is still the show you loved in the past and is worth a view. The Banana Splits is my all time favourite kids show ever. I love this show!
