Watched reruns of this when I was around 5. (I was born in 1972 but I watched all this kinda stuff, Brady Bunch, Monkees, etc). Even then I knew "wow, Joy is pretty cute!"

I'm 49 grew up of Kroft shows! I still say " don't be such a hoo doo witch " to my 4 kids that are now 27 21 and twins 19 ... and I have explained who hoo doo is .they are the VERY few who knows who hoo doo is ! I think that's pretty cool!

This was a high point of the Bugaloos, where Sparky really showed his stuff. I could relate to him, as an awkward loner myself who was down on myself a lot and strove to fit in, and sometimes dominate. Thanks for bringing this back!

I loved this show as a kid, and still find it fascinating to this day. My sister and I even had the Milton Bradley board game. One thing about Sparky, though: even as a young child, I wondered why he had a light bulb stuck up his ass. I even asked my parents about it, who tried in vain to explain fireflies to me.

If I remember correctly this is the episode where Sparky ends up getting big-headed about his song writing ability, or maybe the witch hired him to write songs for her. I can't remember, but Sparky was in a penthouse living it up like a rockstar with no song writing ability. Was pretty funny!

No you are probably thinking of the episode The Bugaloos Bugaboo where he gets the idea of becoming a great song writer in this episode Benita forged adoption papers to get Sparky so she could use him as her sound in Peter Platter’s Telethon and The Bugaloos have to make themselves invisible with Mr. magico’s wand so they can get him back
