You can eat the center (stem). Just cut it in thin slices and leave in water to take away the bitterness. It's kind of like potato, good with rice. The flowers can be eaten in a similar way. There are videos about it.

This method can be done by anyone. Not at all expensive. Sterile lab isn't required. Any farmer can do by their own. Instead of depending someone / saving money is better right!

wow thank you for fast reply :) But is the quality between tis and tc plants more or less the same? @@DiscoverAgriculture

Same. In tissue culture also, the quality will not change. Genetically plantlets are similar to parental plant. And we get offsprings with same genetical properties in both Techniques.

Tissue culture has many advantages..anti virus..grow fast..can plant in large numbers
@lisettesyummygarden22992 жыл бұрын
* Disadvantages of tissue culture : * Availability, therefore ( dependence ) of when & if you can get it. * Also you have to buy a minimum quality...usually 60 minimum. * Adaptability : tissue culture plants take a long time to adapt to outside environment. * Better to rely on yourself and not on labs which isn't natural to begin with.
