I don’t think I’ve come across Ivy before- At least not to my knowledge. I was thinking about doing separate videos for that. The video would be way too long if I incorporated the entire process. And according to my KZbin analytics, most people are only watching 2-3mins of the videos🤷🏻‍♂️

Haha ✊🏻 I feel like I have more control when I drag and drop each drum sample into individual tracks so that I have a better options with post production/mixing.

@@bananalabs I can understand that. When I use Sitala in Reaper, It automatically sets up routing for all the samples (16 extra tracks) which is overkill most of the time. On the other hand, testing/swapping out a kick drum on the fly is quite quick.

mit bass lines are more melodic/percussive. Perhaps more funk influenced in that regard and a big shaper of the overall sound imo. This song gives me more mac d and newer beach house vibes (if vocal formant kicked down a notch ). Still a good tune tho 👍

Some of the chords I used for this particular Men I Trust song are influenced by them. That’ll go for all the songs I create on this channel depending on the artists. I’ll do a more in depth explanation in the future videos.
