I saw this song and video once, maybe twice in my life, as a kid in the 90s, I was 10 years old, when I grew up I completely forgot about it. And then I often remembered only some parts of the video through the fog, and for years I was looking for the name of the song, asking people to find it for me, but no one believed that such a video existed, and I couldn't remember or find it literally for years, and now suddenly I come across it!!! Thnak you

@@samppaankka2197 Keren & Sarah are friends since age 5, a very close relation that can be difficult for a third member (that is too one of the reasons why Shioban left). They wanted to continue as a duo, to incorporate a third member was a studio decision which they weren't predisposed at. Jacquie wasn't a full member of the band but rather an employee, she didn't have any saying about anything, it is understable that she became disappointed in the long run. Furthermore, she incorporated when Bananarama was no more a bunch of friends having fun but a money making machine with a strict schedule of concerts, interviews, etc which she wasn't accostumed to. Keren & Sarah were disappointed also with Jacquie's unability to write songs ("only your love" is the only one she wrote). Once Pop Life slipped, Jacquie was burnt out, the studio was disappointed and Keren and Sara were no longer interested in paying her.
@kidwaryodproduction2 жыл бұрын
@@pedroenguita1875 At least I still think that bringing Jacquie was the best decision ever. She have a unique character that make the group still interesting and works well in "Pop Life" era. (Love her in "Tripping on Your Love very much) For me, Bananarama as a duo is still good, But it's lack of some magic they once have.
@doughmestic-bliss2 жыл бұрын
@@samppaankka2197 As Pedro said Keren and Sara were happy to continue as a duo even then but the studio insisted on a third member, Jacquie was happy to sing and perform but wasn't interested in the business side of it which caused some conflict. She got called the new girl from the start and it never really went away, with that and everything else she probably never felt like she truly belonged in bananarama. She admits she wasn't in a good place and kind of hit self destruct which led to them parting company, a real shame because her voice added something wonderful to the blend.
@kidwaryodproduction2 жыл бұрын

This has got to be among the sexiest music videos ever without crossing the line into smuttiness. And the record absolutely rocks. This was when I finally bought a Bananarama album. I wish I could see every take shot to make this video, because there are so many visually arresting elements. Since I really like this song, I could handle hearing it over and over while watching the various takes. Their latest, "In Stereo," is on repeat for me these days.

Is there dance tracks like this on the new album? I really loved the "drama" album! 👍😃
@channelskip4 жыл бұрын
@@universalsoul7653 Sorry for the late reply. As much as I enjoy "Pop Life," I enjoy "In Stereo" even more. Their goal in making "In Stereo" was to deliver something that was reminiscent of going out to clubs and dancing back in the day, if that helps. Also, the title track was written by the original Sugababes, if that's any incentive.
