If, as an offlaner, you get into the situation where its 4vs4 creeps in front of your tower you will still have to deny MORE than last hit because the upcomming creepwave will theoretically always meet near the safelanes tower. But since there is now creeps in the way of that (because you managed so) you will have one or two creeps of the old creepwave survive as the new creepwave arrives.

One thing I do is to block all but one of the creeps as much as possible because it lets the opposing creeps focus down one of mine and passively make it easier to draw the equilibrium back towards my tower.

@@afrocious8281 the reason why its bad is because enemy will get free cs, free cs = free gold and xp. if you are down 1 creep, enemy will do more damage to you. its fine in lower ranks (divine down) to let a creep just die because in those bracket almost no one punish anything during laning stage lmao. I know this because I smurf to play with my friends, no one punishes anything in those bracket.

It can actually be better if the opponent blocks their wave or their ranged is under tower so your creeps die faster under tower fire. Also a good thing to note is that when your 4 pulls a wave, you can drag the enemy creeps to behind your tower to perfectly last hit and deny, though make sure to not leave any allied creep to maintain the balance. Another thing to note is that a lot of higher MMR enemy pos5 can pull their lanes using the hard camp so having both blocked might be beneficial (Enemy might block the hard camp on their own, just dont deward it)

u can aggro creeps by a-clicking any enemy hero on the map, they dont have to be in your lane. only the creeps have to be in range. the enemy hero you are issuing an attack command on does not.

As an OFFLANER, You might want to trade more, so doesn't it make sense to kill the melee creep so that we can trade on a creep advantage, push the wave in and pull to negate the previous push. Especially for BH and slark. I maybe wrong but thats what I do in my games

How did he aggro the enemy creep wave to his own range creep at 3:05 once the enemy heroes are not within the aggro pull range? Did he use the global aggro to pull it? If that is the case, I didn't see him clicking on the enemy hero(because the creeps would attack bounty first, but I see they go straight for the range creep instead)... This is definitely a mechanic I am not familiar with... if anyone can explain how he did that, this is super important and will be very helpful.

Sometimes, it doesn't work. Hero Dynamics matters. Sometimes, you want to get LVL 2 faster then they do and one extra spell can secure kills and zone out the supports. Offlane is not always about offlane hero. POS 4 hero matters also.

What do u do if the safelaners pull your creep wave, get their ranged creep killed, and similarly freeze it in front of their tower? That's what i see happening pretty often in my lane. As a 4, i try to either get favorable trades or drag their wave from behind the tower, but the 3 can't really help since he's stuck freezing the wave in front of our tower.

Don’t block the creepwave when it spawns. If it’s close to their tower they won’t be able to pull the remaining meele creeps to their second waves ranged creep without pulling the meele creeps into tower range. You can also try to block the enemies first creep wave since it doesn’t Aggro you, to have it in their tower at the first place. Since bounty runes are often contested you have to be careful pulling this off tho

Well, I'm just trying to think + some experience. For instance, if there's dark seer, the best counter is Oracle because he dispels the ion shell and dark seer is basically useless. If you have 2 melee heroes against, it is a good idea to pick kind of a trader, such as Slark or Legion, because of their passives. If there's large amount of burst damage such as Zeus, Dark Willow, it is better to take something like Faceless Void (his 1 ability counters burst). If there's Veno or Spirit brekaer, it is better to take Ranged carry, because they have very high kill potential. I'm trying to think like that + also think about starting items: kill potential = orb or wraith band. silly lane / pokers = stick. (btw also an archon))

yeah, i played 4 mostly. when my offlane hoarding too much creeps i definitely go nut, they following guides but don't understand its purposes. that way, we under leveled and enemy could rush us into the tower and kill us then the creeps get cleared by the tower which nobody gonna benefit from its exp if nobody tp to the tower. a complete disaster.

Unfortunately these tricks do not work in low mmr. Most low mmr players have no support IQ and likes to trade early or tends to always draw creep aggro everywhere. Oh and you can't forget that as offline your support most likely leaves lane leaving you getting 2v1 pressured with the enemy allowing them to deny and hold creep wave.

As a pos4 In herald you could just pull the creep agro yourself to assist the offlaner and also nuke the enemy ranged creep if he isn’t going to be able to go for it. Simply sentrying their pull camp usually works at this level and eventually you’ll be able to get the lane back to a safe distance from your tower. Make sure you communicate or atleast I try to let your offlaner know not to push the lane by auto attacking the creeps and instead just last hit 😂. Best of luck in the trench mate
