This is what I did with "unfair" bots for 3 weeks because I was offline for a while. Never lose a tower, focus on item timings. Farm random bots on the way. Went from 1-2k to 4k pretty fast.

you can easily do 1000 cs if you get swift blink before butterfly. I'd say item build for farm optimization on Luna is treads mom manta swift blink tp boots with some occasional clarity or mango. last item doesn't matter too much, could be butter fly or moon shard

This challenge exists for 10 years now. Am needs 800, luna and sf 900, meepo 1000+ creeps before 30 minute mark. Those were the goals. Sf was the hardest by far but still doable with the right items. Back then i used to just buy necro3 and farm 2 waves plus enemy jungle with that alone while at the same time farming mid lane and my own jungle. Nowdays the lack of necro3 is replaced by flagbearer creeps that accelerate your item timings. Also there are items like swoft blink now that is super value.

I’ve been trying to do this challenge for some days now and I only get to 800-850cs… I don’t really understand your principle when you tp and plan out the farming route, I try to tp to a pushing wave clear it, send manta illusions to catch next wave while I’m clearing the jungle… am I missing something? Manta illusions last 20 seconds. Interval between creep waves is 30. If you Manta immediately after TP and let THEM clear the wave, the will also be able to catch next one (as they will approach each other). And you just go jungle.

I've previously gotten over 900 on AM but it's been a couple years since I've done the challenge. Gave it a try on FV (not a hero I play, I'm a mid player) after seeing your comment, I got 741 on my first attempt. My build was something along the lines of Quelling -> Wraith -> Battle Fury (damage components first) -> Boots -> Moon Shard -> Rapier -> Blink -> BoTs -> Octarine which is approximately what I used to do on AM. For skill build my priority was: useful talents > Q > E (hold the points until you start farming jungle because it's actively harmful to have against lane creeps) > stats > useless talents/W/R. Definite room for improvement in my run, was a bit lazy at checking the clock and I'm still not used to there being no small camp next to mid. 900 might not be realistic since FV is basically worse AM as far as this challenge is concerned (worse mobility and worse BAT) but 800-850 is probably quite doable with some optimizations.

I tried this before watching the entire video, could only get 723CS. Big mistakes on my part: 1. Missing easy early CS (could have bumped my score by 15-20 overall), 2. not buying manta faster, 3. Not tping to different parts of the map leading to extra walking time, 4. Not controlling my impulsive habits of denying/picking up runes. The things I did great on 1. Utilizing my level 20 talent and Deadlus to clear lane creeps even faster, 2. Good usage of A stop A to walk towards next camp, 3. Stacking. Thanks BSJ for this. Just something to do when I dont feel like playing a pub.

lvling stun earlier could help stacking when u cant kill a camp yet, also helping to stack two camps later together or even 3. also spamming clarities but skipping linken to get something like moonshard would probly help increase the time around the map + lucent spamming with 2glaive talent going earlier crystalys etc would almost kill camps....i guess the original challenge was for playing antimage tho, luna is a bit cheating with claives. although jungle is harder nowadays

# of cs is kind of a bad benchmark, because things like the troll camp or small camp can give you 5-6 cs but that's considerably less than clearing an ancient camp or wave of lane creeps.

Build isn't optimal. If you are trying to resemble a real game build then this is fine, but if you are focusing entirely on beating BSJ's numbers in a solo lobby, then you should definitely adjust your item build. The most likely best efficiency build needs only damage, attack speed, and movement speed. If an item does not give those efficiently then its not a good buy. Since you are not contested in lane you can get away with a lower damage start and skip the wraith band and its components and get either components for treads and get treads right away. After treads you should go Mask of Madness into Manta just like BSJ did. After manta you have 2 options Moonshard or Rapier, you should buy both. Boots of Travel Swift Blink 2nd Moonshard Gloves of Haste - Treads - MOM Manta - Rapier - Moonshard Boots of Travel - Swiftblink - Moonshard *Comment if you agree*

They just use the next unit key. So bind it somewhere effecient for you like a mouse key or a button you know youll be able to use. Attack move hero Next unit attack move Next unit attack move Make amall micro adjustments as neccesary.

Like the other answer, there's a Next unit key that is Tab by default. So you use the Manta, then Tab + A (default key of Attack move) + click where you want it to farm, then you use Tab + A + click for the other illusion, then I'd press F1 to return the commands to my hero, cause F1 is the key that i use to take it back to my hero, but you can adjust all of this as you prefer.

I have f2 bound to select all controlled units (basically all units that aren't your hero, so manta illusions), So yeah, F2 and then hold A and left click on the map the direction you want them to run towards/farm. if you just click on the enemy base then they will run down the lane. for example if you're in your own mid lane, you pop manta, press F2, A+click on the map on the enemy base, and your units should run towards the enemy base and automatically start attacking the first unit they see.

After 30 min his net worth was 37361. If u ignore the 600g with which you start he aquired 36761 gold in 30 minutes. Which is around 1225 gpm.

I noticed that you were unable to collect all the farm on the map before it respawned. Your routes cover only parts of the cs generated / minute. UnIess there is something I've misunderstood or didn't think about. I know a way for you to increase your final cs by 30 minutes significantly. Think of it as stacking camps but for minion waves. You won't harvest 100% of the cs generated in the lane. But you compensate it by lowering the amount of time you spend travelling to and from the lane allowing you to incorporate more camps or even lanes into your route In league waves will rebound and grow if equilibrium is left near enemy base. I'm assuming it's how it works in Dota2 as well. Have you considered making slowpushes once you destroy the enemy offlane turret in order to make the minions destroy your safelene outer turret. This would allow you to increase the timer you have between starting a slowpush at their inner turret and collecting it at your inner turret. The longer the lane is the better. Aka the fewer towers that exist in it. With practice and planning it might be possible to make bottom lane start a slowpush desynced to the top lane allowing you to ->Collect a huge wave in bot -> push out 1-3 more waves in order to place it in a position where the lane will start to slowpush again -> Grab a huge stacked wave in toplane -> push out 1-3 more waves in order to place it in a position where the lane will start to slowpush again The rebound process might be possible to do with the mantas. This might be a more effective way to use the clones compared to spending them on collecting a single wave or two. I'd like to add that as a League player since 2010 who is looking to migrate to DotA2. I can't in a strong enough way express how grateful I am for the content you've put out here. So I started to answer you, then I was like " Hey, do I have ADHD ? " and went on a spree of 30 minutes of googling shit, then came back to youtube, and closed the page, only to remember I STILL DID NOT FUCKING ANSWER > < ... NOW I'M FOCUSED, I'M COMMITTED, LET'S DO THIS. My fastest was 900 last hits by 31:01, the main mistake I did the first try were in item choices, I did helm of dominator (To stack camps early + upgrade the item + take dragon ancient and cut a lane later) And I did not go for manta, on my other tries I did get manta, and it was the main thing that upgraded my time, the possibility to cut 2 lanes and farm jungle at the same time is too good. I still did not reach 30:00 mainly because I hesitate and do some rotation mistakes, sometimes I think too much about going in a position or another, and sometime I decide quickly but regret it. Farming in general is a really complex idea with a lot of varibles. But i can confirm i sit at like 2.5?k Archon 3 I watch teams lose toweres to random unpushed waves. And you really dont see that at higher ranks because wave are cleared constantly because they are a very easy and effecient source of gold. It always feels bad playing a suport who strugles with wave clear because you tp into save tower but you cant clear the wave that stacked lile that.

Thinking about it, there are few things to speed it up even more: 1) Getting ministun earlier to stack (I feel it is more valuable than +2 to stats in this challenge). 2) buying swift blink before/instead butterfly 3) CD reduction items (both neutral green thingy and octarine) would speed up the farm even more, as you could blink more, tp more etc. Especially since octarine is just 600 more than linkens. Theorycrafting: 4) Maybe early HotD would help to create stacks...? 5) Maybe after you are happy with farming speed (swift+butterfly) Necro, which could together with HotD farm entire line, so you can focus only on 2/3 of the map?
