Maria, the money you collect is paid direct to your bank account if you are using a merchant account solution. Payment service providers like PayPal work a little differently whereby it's paid to a PayPal account and then you need to take one more step to transfer it to your bank account. I've built a site on my PC (IIS, PHP and MySQL) along with shopping cart system but as my previous experience is coding internal corporate intranets I've never handled financial transactions before. I'm tired of being burnt by clients. I do the work and they pay partially then they disappear or they don't pay at all and I'm stuck with their site to use for my portfolio.
