I was at the show in Tokyo where they debuted this song as the closer. It was incredible! If you were there, you'd see that there was not an ounce of competitiveness involved. They were celebrating each other. There was so much love between them that it made me cry. As for songs you need to check out... Evolve from the 2023 MTV VMAs Hell You Call A Dream, live at the Pepsi Center Automatic Sun, the official video, the one that shows them playing it live, but uses the studio version. Those three will get you started down the rabbit hole. You're going to enjoy this. They are amazing.

No doubt! I am guessing the ladies from BandMaid played "tour guide" for The Warning, it being their first time in Japan and they had a couple weeks to finalize the song and make the videos, but given the professionalism of both groups I suspect it didn't take a lot of time to shoot - leaving several days to just relax and explore. It must have been a lot of fun, for sure!!

Evolve, their Live performance at the MTV Music Awards, and their MV. And according to a few of the interviews, the song was "MOSTLY" recorded, until The Warning got to Japan, and added their performance to it. Pau used Akane's drum kit to record her part, and Akane was surprised that Pau got her kit to sound as different as it did. And I think I read that Ale, used MISA's pedal board setup to record her part, so that was probably MISA's distortion settings. And this was recorded by Band-Maid's usual video team is what a few others have said. All I know is that their drone FPV pilot is VERY GOOD!!. Hmmm, a Band-Maid song I want you to try to play... Freezer, Matchless GUM, or Unfair Game.

I still nearly break down in tears everytime I think about missing this show. And as far as The Warning, you can't go wrong with ANYTHING from the Teatro Metropolitan series. "Sharks" from the new album is my favorite and their heaviest song by far but there's only a lyric video and some fan cams as of now

I think you can tell how much fun and excitement both bands were having. And, the bands were inspiring each other to give it their best!! I'll always remember that short clip of both bands meeting unexpectedly - of course TW was thrilled to meet BM but seeing how excited that BM was to meet TW was so very cool!

Saying this as an American guy, I just disagree about it being competitive. That is an American thing a guy thing. I think they were playing to each other.
