things about looks might be minor and a bit silly in importance, but... yes, this is probably the year for Kanami; I liked the black "battlegear" earlier (I still hope it is comfortable enough for her) and definitely like this one. Kanami has natural "proper elegance" looks, so the hair style and the dress - with hints of elegant evening dress and maybe wedding dress - looks particularly good.

I remember finding the video for Thrill in 2015. It was a recommendation that I kinda ignored for a few weeks before finally clicking on it. I've always found Asian women to be exceptionally beautiful so putting it off was a bit of a surprise. I liked the song, but figured it was a gimmick band that wouldn't last. Fast forward to 2018 and I found them again with the video for Choose Me. After that they've been a regular on my playlists. MISA, Akane and Miku are my favorites but Kanami has really grown on me with how her guitar playing has developed since my first listen. Saiki has never disappointed with her vocals. My only thing with this song is that I'm not really liking the full lyrics in English. The fact that they sang in Japanese is a large part of what drew me to them in the first place. I LOVE music sung in native tongues. It almost always sounds better and conveys the feeling of the song better than translated lyrics. Personal opinion, but this is a good tune.

I love this song, and the video is just great. Saiki's voice and Miku's chorus are so soft and clear. Akane's drumming is like usual, absolutely incredibly great, and Mincho is a rockstar.

During the 70's and 80's, Led Zeppelin was my favorite band and a couple of years ago I came across Band Maid. The years in between were filled with ho-hum music that didn't really leave an impression on me. Band Maid has completely changed my outlook on music. I look at them the same way I look at Led Zeppelin in that all the members are irreplaceable. Band Maid's musicianship is unquestionable, and I would put Saki's vocals at the top of the list of male and female singers.
