Band-Maid have been writing their own music since 2016. Kanami(lead guitar) is possibly the most prolific song writer since Lennon/McCartney, Elton John/Bernie Taupin or even the Glimmer twins of Jagger/Richards. she has written over 80 recorded songs in the past 8 years. Miku(rhythm guitar/vocals is the main lyricist with Saiki making contributions. thanks always for reacting to The Maids

I've watched this video dozens of times, and each time I have severe allergies, eyes water, I don't get it.
Believe it or not, the band's live performances are better than their studio recordings, and the band members have openly stated that they are routinely working to improve their live performances and upgrade their songs. The best performances are hidden within the latest live performances. And they are willing to put in the effort and ingenuity for a single performance on a single night. I have been to many of their concerts since I first discovered the band six years ago, and have been moved beyond words many times. This 10th anniversary concert at Yokohama Arena was a massive three and a half hours long, but the music of the five witches was like magic to me. A magical time where overwhelming diversity and detailed, polished, jewel-like beauty coexist. I remember that I felt as if the flow of time had stopped on the boundary of a black hole in space-time, as if everything had stood still. The intensity of a supernova explosion, the passionate feelings that shake people's hearts, the speed of a super-lightspeed spaceship, the slow flow of time that reminds us of eternity... the weight of a giant meteorite and the light, glittering sound of a butterfly... I still can't believe the relative diversity, the unimaginable diversity cohabiting and harmonising together. If you ever get the chance to hear a live performance, I highly recommend you go. I am sure you will have an unforgettable experience. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator

This was the last song of the last concert of their 10th anniversary tour. The concert lasted 3.5 hours. It was indeed a heartfelt thank you to their fans. It got emotional.

As far as I know Miki rewrote the last part for this special 10th anniversary concert. And the last sentence is so beautiful and well thought: "This life is beautiful" ❤🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️ In this moment one can forget all those ugly things happening in the world (ridiculous wars, selfish and ignorant Tr... politicians, ecological catastrophes)

The genuine connection with and emotion toward their fans gets me every time I see this video. Akane doing her best to hold back her tears is so touching. Truly a beautiful performance.
