The official live version is available on their YT channel! With English subtitles. A very moving, emotion filled performance that will better show why this is the show closer and a sing along for the fans as well as a goodbye and thank you from the band to their fans. I get moved to tears every time I watch it, especially when I watch the whole 33 song concert first. They are fine with reactions from their yt channel.

Good to know! Edit- pretty sure this once is what I've used for the analysis video

@@JbfMusicGuitar The OLV from Yokohama has the added special verse. Beware of onion ninjas and extreme dust in the room when watching.

Good job. The reason for this song is precisely that sing along, they wrote it specifically to have a moment of unity with their fans. At their Yokohama Arena concert they added one more verse and some phrases of gratitude that further intensified that moment.

They really can’t help themselves. A song designed to be sung with a thousand untrained voices and still intricate as a spiderweb. How can you not love them?

Hi Jack. I am a huge fan of your B-M reaction videos. I always appreciate your insights and thoughtful commentaries. You clearly have a profound love for music and your depth of knowledge and understanding are head and shoulders above most reactors on KZbin. Please don’t take this the wrong way. And that is, going forward, I hope that you’ll try reacting to their official videos whenever possible. I’m here to support both you and Band-Maid. I wish you and your channel great success. Until next time…cheers!

Yeah man, thanks a bunch for that! I like to mix it up between different video types, but I do tend to use the cleanest sounding ones for the longer analysis videos. Should be up in the next week or two

The official live version is the way to go and if you do it keep in mind that it's the last song of a 3-hour plus concert. Also have the subtitles on on this one. It's all about the connection they have with their fans and they even wrote an extra verse for the fans at the end.

Jack...in the description you mentioned it was from Lollapalooza but it is actually from Welcome to Rockville

Yeah. Their rockville performance is legendary in a different way from Yokohama Arena.

It's an awesome song both the recording, the MV and the lives. For sure the official live on their page is 100 times better due to where it is int he setlist, the lyrics change at the end and for sure what Saiki says to the audience through the song.
@JbfMusicGuitar6 ай бұрын
Very cool, pretty sure that's the one I've used for the analysis video!

Even if you just do it on your own you should check out the official release from the Yokohama Arena show and please turn on the subtitles to understand what Saiki says when she is speaking to the audience. They even added a verse with special lyrics just for that show. Really emotional and well worth taking in.

Hi Jack, Thanks for the analysis but is there a reason you did not/could not react to the live mv of Endless Story from Yokohama? The whole okuji/concert was livestreamed (paid viewing) but that track and 3 others were from the concert were posted on YT by Band-Maid. One thing though, that Endless Story version is 7+ mintues 😊.

This is the link I had in my document, happy to add another version in for a future video though! Edit- need to double check, but fairly confident the official live version is the one I've used for the analysis video. Haven't edited it down yet though

The real star of this song is the guy in the green shirt, lol! You know how much this song and their fans mean to the band when it makes Akane cry.

Jack, great reaction, you were a trooper hanging in there for a ‘ballad’ (not your favorite - 😏). There is just so much depth to their composition (no musical lasagna this time). Stay well and look forward to hearing your next reaction.

I reckon it's about 5-10bmp faster than a normal ballad, so we're just out of the danger zone 🤣🤣🤣

Nice reaction and given the quality of the audio, surprised you could hear all that, I certainly couldn't, but then my ears are quite a bit older and more abused than yours :D
