PLAY was initially made as an instrumental song, but Saiki liked the song and wanted to make it as a crowd oriented song. So she asked Miku to write lyrics for it. Btw, Without Holding Back is my #1 fave instrumental song, and From Now On is #2😉

PLAY was originally going to be an instrumental but Saiki wanted in on it so Miku threw some lyrics together for her. No egos in this band for sure. That's another reason BAND-MAID are Awesome. Without Holding Back was on a bonus DVD/Bluray on the Unseen World Limited edition. Likely why it's not on their channel, but has been released on their Band-Maid Prime streaming service. The Bluray version is cool as you can select a member to watch and just focus on them and switch it around.

Imo, if one is being totally honest, you can't pick a favorite Maid, and you can't pick a favorite songs. That's how good they are! In fact, they're so good that many people can't express or recognize how good they are. They just know they’ve heard and seen something special. Their music, composition and execution are so rich and deep that they will be relevant for many decades -- or longer -- after they're gone... hopefully in about 50 years from now! Thx, MilTruc!

While The Maids have made instrumental versions of their songs and put them as extras on DVDs. From Now On is the first official instrumental MV. Although available as an extra on DVD with the last EP. Band Maid are a great instrumental band as well as being a great band.

The same as Without Holding Back, although an instrumental was never considered by them to be an MV. Unlike From Now On which was officially released as an MV.
