This entire Album is great, each song on it can be someone's favorite.

More peeks into the fascinating Unseen World of Band-Maid. On every song we're witnessing another evolution of Band-Maid right before our very eyes and ears. And like the unique, awesome outro, every Band-Maid song has a touch of class because the Maids have class. A remarkable, important band in so many aspects! "aw, aw, aw, aw, aw, aw, awesome!" Thx, Jim!

The jazz influence and keyboards are all Kanami; her effects board is also pretty amazing, she is a master of tones. Remember, Kanami's first instrument was the piano.

Unseen World (their last album) is an absolute masterpiece. They have managed to compose four absolutely amazing albums in a row in four years. I don't know of anyone capable of doing something similar in today's rock music scene.

Blooming, Dice, Rinne, Bubble, Choose Me are all great MVs you haven't reacted to. You reacted to Onset Live and Domination Live already. Play Live and Real Existence Live are also great live videos. Play Live really features the bass

Best female band going..... These ladies work very hard and push themselves to being better every song, and the results show. If you didn't know, on April 1st Miku put out a little video project that's very good, check it out. Band Maid loves April Fools Day.....leave it at that. Her J-Pop studio band is "Cluppo", and the tune is "Peace and Love".......she's just adorably talented.

Kanami, MISA and Akane have classical musical training and played piano from a young age.
Can’t believe people in the chat knocking Band Maid’s vocals as applied to Hard Rock! Comments like that just sound like so much nonsense to my brain. 💪🏻🤘🏻

3 videos that are no longer on KZbin: "Take Me Higher (Live)", Don't You Tell Me (Live) & "Turn Me On (Live)" are a must see. Hopefully someone in the Band-Maid community can hook you up with these.

"This entire Album is great, each song on it can be someone's favorite." ... that's it! I think it's much easier to pick the least favorite out of "Unseen World" and THAT one it's still going to be awesome. I add all the "extras" into a "UnseenWorld" playlist so I can listen to all this Band-Maid stage - that means all the instrumentals that came out in different versions of the album/bluray, "Youth", "About Us" AND both "Different" and "Don't Be Long" ... What to react to next? How about a ballad now? "Daydreaming" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHTEloihp66nr7s ), it's a must! Or, if you want to be surprised and still amazed, why not a special double with both Band-Maiko MVs: "Secret MAIKO Lips" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/hH-reHR4rNKYa5I ) and "Gion-Cho" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/q562pWqlgrqAmdU ) "Secret MAIKO Lips" is a different version of "Secret My Lips" with a twist... came out on a special April Fool's Mini Album called BAND-MAIKO which featured a few Band-Maid songs with a twist of traditional Japanese instruments and a whole bunch of genius arrangements, besides all lyrics being re-written in a Kyoto dialect (so, this means it's not just a different mix with added instruments) ... the Mini Album had only one original song: "Gion-Cho", that seems to be many times forgotten when mentioning this perfect gem in their discography.

I love the live version of "Don't You Tell ME" (I think it's at the Zepp venue; this might be hard to find unless you go to a certain Chinese video site), for the change-of-mood Kanami/Misa guitar bass showdown (but be sure to listen to the drums during this exchange as well - Akane rules).

This is 60s/70s heavy metal for the 21st. Try Cream, Black Sabbath, Trapeze, Thin Lizzy etc. Man what a sound!

Yeah, Kobato can get really low. We call it her "froggy voice." I think Saiki actually has a narrower range but a more powerful voice (singing, that is - obviously the Pigeon has perfected what she calls her "hairball" voice for gritty screaming, it's featured several times on Unseen World).

Every track from the new album are awesome 👌! Something for everyone, my favorites, besides Manners, are Chemical Reaction and Why, Why, Why.
@donald-waters3 жыл бұрын
The lyrics were a telling of BAND-MAID's mission statement and a real time, English Subtitled, narrative of the Experimental Bridges, throughout the song. The outro was, very much, a brilliant contemporary take on the Beatles "White Album" style of layered tape loops.
@donald-waters3 жыл бұрын
... and, so you know, they've released 5 NEW videos, for NEW BAND-MAID songs (not including a Miku "Solo Project", titled "Peace & Love" by "cluppo", released 8 days ago.), since December. If this song caught you off guard, and it's obvious that it did, *About Us* is going to totally freak you out. **The, English Subtitled, lyrics are important to the song, because they want us to know that it is about us.
Nowdays many bands seem to have MV outros.. probably to avoid having youtube suggestion boxes to overlay the final seconds. Good thinking, at least I get annoyed by them.

I think it’s fair to say Miku & Kanami write the songs with pop influences. Miku was in a pop group, Lil Cumin, for a short time.

They pull from many influences, yes, including pop. I recently read that Miku wrote lyrics for other artists back then, but don't know if she was allowed to do that in Li'l Cumin.

Dude .....Im a drummer and this electronic thing your talking about in the beginning is Misa's bass and Akani's kick drum. Now in the end of song there is a track that Miku clicks with her foot pedal when they do this live. BM does use tracks from time to time ...typically keyboards that Kanami plays and programs. She is a classically trained pianist.

Not too happy about the duracell-rabbit speed on the since im more into melody and finesse. Next song? Daydreaming or the new instrumental "without holding back"?
@stephanwolfhunter2 жыл бұрын
The first time I heard this I was like OMG. Since then it was quickly added to my list of anthems. I just can not listen to this at anything other than full volume! The title, however, is something of a conundrum because it does not deal with manners. Or am I missing something? I have been a fan since a lady I knew from Tokyo demanded I listen to Thrill right after it hit yt. Watching them grow and mature as a band has been a privaledge and an honor.

Is it about time you come back for more band-maid? Having said that I have way too many songs to recommend so I'll leave the decision up to you.
