I own two Squire basses. One four string I've named "Little Misa" and a five string Jazz style bass I just call "Misa" after my muse. As a "Friend of Bill W", I wish Misa would be more careful and lay off "the bottle" so we can enjoy her beauty and playing skills for a very long. Three cheers for the "Barefoot Assassin Maid"!

Along with that pick hiding technique, that twisting wrist action she does impresses me. I'm not sure if she's the only one that does it but she's the only one I've noticed completely. I hope she can keep her wrist healthy for a very long time.

Davey 504 me semble qui n'a pas été impressionné par Misa. Mais c'est super que tu l'as connu grâce à lui. Davey 504 ne sera jamais aussi populaire qu'elle. Ça doit être la bassiste la plus méconnue dans le monde. Je suis un fan de band-maid depuis 2014 et Misa m'impressionne d'années en années !

great video! Thank you for your continued hard work highlighting all this wonderful music from Japan, and the musicians who make it possible. I don't get into the whole "best" fights, like some fans insist on. I will simply say that in 48 yrs of listening to rock and jazz and blues and metal, 33 of which I have also played bass, that Misa, in the 4 short years I have followed Band-Maid has skyrocketed up my list to become my favorite bass player. Her mix of techniques, tone and sheer songwriting sensibilities, help make every Band-Maid song a pleasure to listen to. Even some of their more "simple" songs, like Manners, play out like a 3 minute bass solo, if you listen to Misa.
