The acoustic version with just Saiki and Kanami on acoustic guitar is the same song, but stripped back and a lot more emotional. It also shows off Saiki's voice extremely well! Kanami is basically soloing through this whole song in this electric version! Kanami in full Mincho mode here!

Puzzle is one of Band-Maid's exemplar songs, IMO, showing how each member lays down separate lines that all interlock seamlessly. There is a beautiful acoustic version of Puzzle that you might want to check out.

It's a complete PUZZLE to me why the entire rock world aren't (yet) solid Band-Maid Fans! Is there some language / cultural / sexist chauvinism going on? Is it just incompetent marketing? My opinion is this is one of Kanami’s finest solos. Like a jet ✈️ fighter take off; brilliant. (My number one is “Moratorium”) I think “Puzzle” fits their “cinematic rock” style. Big, bombastic, complex, could be a film soundtrack. Warning, Hate, Dice, Different, Puzzle, and where to go next? As a friend? I vote for a style shift: “Daydreaming,” official music video. Band Maid has a softer side, but still manage to bring the 🔥 Whatever you choose, I’ll be poking around in the comment section with my insightful thoughts 😂

As always, I strongly suggest to reactors that you react to the live acoustic version with just Saiki & Kanami on stage. Your eyes will water. The pain & angst in Saiki's voice is palpable. And you will also realise how sweet Kanami's voice really is.
