That guitar riff grabbed me right off the bat, then MISA's bass and Akane's drumming grabbed hold and would not let go! Saiki and Miku's singing with Kanami's lead guitar and solo just finished it off so well!

Ahoy Captain and Heather! This one definitely a Misa and Akane show. Glad you got to this song. Now I owe you ;) Hope you enjoyed. Not sure where you got the new bass player news from - probably Lovebites that recently got Fami. Band Maid have maintained their original lineup since they started - now their tenth anniversary! And it was Miku (rhythm guitar and vocals) that learned to play guitar for the band that she started.

Half of her bottom lip is pink, the other half is black, so it makes her look like she has a crooked smile, that's why she is called Mona Lisa. She is incredibly loud.

"They say that she's not good enough to play solos"...you're likely to be quoting someone talking about the rhythm guitarist/band founder Miku, not the lead guitarist, Kanami, who is universally considered to be a superior player. When the band first started, Miku had NO idea how to player guitar. When the band decided that they needed a rhythm guitarist to create a fuller sound, Miku became a conscript on that instrument. She is an apt pupil, and she had an excellent teacher: Kanami. Miku's progress on the instrument has been exemplary. In recent times, she has dabbled in some short solos (even on stage). It will not be long before she gets some "legit" solos to perform (although I don't believe that Kanami has any real concerns here...your job is safe, M'Lady).

Yeah, I confused myself for a minute. I remember someone mentioning she was always learning more and more, and was hopeful, hehe. It's just cuz I think Miku is capable of EVERYTHING after seeing the Cluppo videos.

If Miku had the help of the others in the band, you could give her blueprints and access to necessary materials and equipment, and she could lead the way to building a nuclear aircraft carrier from the keel-up before Christmas, 2024. As for the names of group members (from Japan), I'm good for my Top 8 groups or so; after that, it goes downhill quickly. Of course, at my age, remembering my own name is a triumph. Actually, watch out for a video titled "BAND-MAID - Dice & Hate? at Lollapalooza 2023, with optimized audio." The video director missed a couple of MISA's solos and hasn't been heard from again.
