I first discovered Band-Maid in 2022. Friends and family thought it was weird because of the language. I then a year later discovered The Warning. Family and friends thought they were no big deal. When the collaboration happened in Japan, I told others I’m going to Japan! Of course people thought it was extreme. But it was the greatest concert I have ever attended! Both bands are wonderful charismatic ladies that deserve all the respect in the world for their talents!!

I'm a long time Maidiac. I love this collaboration. I have been "aware" of The Warning since they did their Enter Sandman cover many many moons ago. I have always "liked" them, but I never gave them my proper attention till this past weekend whilst on a road trip. They have a new fan. They're great. A totally different rock style to Band-Maid but familiar to me..... A sprinkling of Stoner/Sludge. Greetings from Denmark. I am an old time The Warning supporter. Like Band-Maid, The Warning already had their 10th anniversary as a band. Both bands have had struggles being recognized and both bands are on the rise to World domination. As mentioned by most TWA comments below, The Warning have great studio albums and OMV, but the live one are where they shine. No Bad songs from them. Of course, they've evolved in the course of 11+ years. Regardless whether you pick a song from their debut or from the last album, they will impress you. So, please, continue with Band-Maid reactions and do jump into The Warning rabbit hole. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the ride!

The Warning are at their best live. The Teatro Metropolitan show in Mexico City is amazing and all the songs are worth listening to. Stand outs are “Disciple”, “Dust to Dust” and “Queen of the Murder Scene”. Also “Evolve” at the MTV VMAs and “Hell You Call a Dream” from the Pepsi Centre are great.

Leo, Girl, I loved that "fan-girl" face of yours! I had a "fan-boy" face when I first saw the video. From Dany's opening wail to MISA's final notes on her thumping bass, this anathematic video screams "GIRL POWER!" Collabs are notorious as hell to do well. The two bands and their production crew NAILED IT! The Warning and Band-Maid may be the new "power couple" in rock. In an interview with Kanami for PRS Guitars Japan, Dany hinted that there is possibly another collab between the two bands in the future.

The Warning are 3 sisters and are on average about 10 years younger than Band Maid; they have been a band for a little over 10 years. Their music is a unique blend of classic hard rock, heavy metal, punk and alternative, with catchy hooks and riffs, and often deep lyrics, and their style varies from song to song. They are Mexican but fluent in English, and all but 3 of their 60 original songs are in English. Hope to see you react to more of The Warning! 👍😎

Super fun song and video (in Spanish). The warning has 4 albums and over 60 songs but only 3 (Que Mas Quieres, Martirio, and Narcisista) are in Spanish but all are bangers. First time hearing Band-Maid but they definitely have my attention.

Hey Leo. That was a fun reaction. Longtime fan of The Warning here and new fan of Band-Maid because of their collab. In my opinion, The Warning have a way of bringing a modern approach to familiar sounds, blending classic rock, hard rock, grunge and pop and turning it into something fresh and unique. If you react to their music, you will get tons of info in the comments about these ladies, as you already have. I definitely recommend watching them live as their energy and charisma totally jumps off the screen. As far as tunes to react to, for a sheer vocal showcase, I would recommend "Hell You Call a Dream" from the Pepsi Center. And “Automatic Sun” (more hard rock/grunge), really shows a different side (they did that on the Jimmy Kimmel show a month back, or check out their original music video in front of a huge festival crowd). That opening belt from The Warning’s eldest sister Dany is a small sample of her incredible vocal range. The two bassists playing together, Misa the ‘Barefoot Assassin’ and The Warning’s ‘Thunder Goddess’ Ale (Alejandra). My favorite moment was the brief scene of Dany playing guitar while Kanami was dancing with a big smile. As someone mentioned to check the ‘go to intro’ song for The Warning, Evolve live at 2023 MTV VMA, nothing will prepare you for The Warning’s drummer Pau (POW)!

It's really been a great collaboration, to see 2 bands full of women rocking out at a high level is great. It's a collaboration where both fans can see what each band does and seeing them together face to face is a tremendous visual and musical delight. As a fan of The Warning, I can only assure you that you will hear 3 very talented sisters, with lyrics mostly of their own and an exceptional quality in their performances, no doubt you won't regret it. I've heard Band-Maid songs, but I hadn't really gotten into their music because of the language barrier, although nowadays that's not a problem. Songs to recommend the list is long, but among the most current we have: “Hell you call a dream” live versions, “Automatic Sun” live versions, “Choke”, “Queen of the murder scene”, “More” and “Evolve” version of the MTV VMAs. Their new Vevo Studio video of Automatic Sun is damn good, though. Unlike the Tecate P'al Norte festival video, it's actually live and just wow. I believe they shot it as a continuous video, if memory serves me correctly. The Tecate P'al Norte does have a lot of great concert footage and styling, though. It's one of those cases where we just have to watch all of them.

Bonsoir Leo, The Warning will be coming to Paris next April. Just a thought. (I’ll be seeing them shortly after in my city in Germany.) I hope Band-Maid will tour Europe again, too, but the Warning come once or twice a year. I think by the way that strategy or not, most of all they really are copines. They follow and like each other’s posts on social media, and they really bonded over this song. By the way, I’m sure you will be fascinated by the Warning’s back story. They are ten years younger than Band-Maid but have been playing together for as long. They are sisters, and they started when the youngest was around eight years old.

The Warning write bangers so it depends on what part of their career you want to explore. Escape The Mind EP was them experimenting to find their sound. XXI Century Blood was their first LP followed by a rock novel called Queen Of The Murder Scene that has to be played in order. after signing we got ERROR and now Keep Me Fed. The difference between the two bands (or one, anyway) is that BM's specialty is their instrumental virtuosity while TW's superpower is writing hook-bssed rock. If I'm taking a shower or folding the laundry I'll be singing/humming TW, not BM. That TW's songs are mostly in perfect English helps, obviously. That said, BM's instrumental skills are jaw-dropping.

I haven't looked anywhere except Japan for my Rock and Metal since finding Band-Maid in 2017...until The Warning came along! I saw The Warning here in Wales in April but I'm still waiting for the Band-Maid European tour dates. Been waiting 6 years now so hopefully that'll happen soon! The Warning, like Band-Maid, shine brightest live and are fine with reactions to their YT channel stuff - which includes a superb live concert. I loved your video! I've been a The Warning fan for quite a while and am also a Band Maid fan, as well. The band members from both bands seem to all be genuinely great people, in addition to being super talented musicians. So, I was delighted to find your channel, following the breadcrumbs that KZbin dropped me, in my "The Warning" search. (Liked and subscribed). Unlike most of the fans of The Warning, I'm not going to recommend 'Evolve' at the MTV Video Music Awards (though you should really watch it). These are my two favorite bands, so naturally I do really like this song a ton, though I don't think it's either band's best. Most of The Warning's songs are in English, though they do have a few in Spanish as well. Like Band-Maid, you really can't go wrong with any of their songs, and if you start in their most recent album, Sick, Hell You Call a Dream, Consume.. I'm going to stop myself before I just list every track... but yeah, they're a fantastic band. I'll be seeing them live (twice) next month.

Much respect for Band-Maid, but I’m here for The Warning, a phenomenal band. It’s hard to know where to start with recommendations. They cover so many styles, from gorgeous ballads to punk-ish songs to heavier rock. Also, their drummer is a great lead singer in her own right. But above all, I think they’re incredible songwriters and live performers.
