Thrill (スリル) is at 802K views. Band-Maid's first song to reach a wider audience outside Japan. It's a hardrocking song played live by Band-Maid. MISA plays even cooler bass line than originally on the record. Akane's drumming is phenomenal. Kanami is shredding on her guitar, as always. Miku plays hard while singing, originally she did not play guitar on this song, but she does now with power. Saiki's vocals are bringing us the lyrics in a powerful way. Thrill (スリル) was released on the album New Beginning in 2015.
It's also fun: Anarchy Stone sexy: Brats (Rei Kuromiya, even Aya Kuromiya) highly skilled: Lovebites (Miyako, Midori) cool: Bridear (Natsumi on drums)

Honesty they're the first band that's really made me feel since early 2000s, and I couldn't be more supportive. I always wanted more women in rock, and for chicks to shred. Suddenly the maids are here and embarrassing us Western dudes, and I love it so much. Their songs and riffs are so good, I couldn't dream of writing something so clever. Begin the domination, they deserve it. Misa is like Flea levels of revolutionary too.

Band Maids music never gets old. I will be listening to them until the very end. Even when they are lowering me into the grave.
Can anyone appreciate the guitar tone on both guitars? It's so mean and chugging, and the blend so well together. Kanami is truly born to, guitar. Just anything to do with a guitar. Tone, riffs, melodies, she's pretty damn special.
@Marcus_C512 жыл бұрын
Oh yes--love how they mixed the guitars up a bit from the original which I love too! Mean, raw and chugging guitar tone from MIku and Kanamincho--so dynamic and badass! @OKBzldr MIsa MIsa (I call her that because she plays so nice I name her twice!) is most certainly phenomenal! Her tone is so radiant and full--I think she sounds better than most rock bassists working today. She's really the secret weapon that Band-Maid has when she drives the band it's so powerful! She and Akane form the ultimate rhythm section, they play hand in glove together perfectly. Her playing on "Manners" live reminds me of the old Who bassist John Entwistle-incredible. Can we just talk about how much saiki has evolved as a vocalist. It doesn't get talked about enough I think. She has become a master class hard rock singer. Putting in little distortions here and there, little runs at the ends of phrases, flipping up to perfectly timed and strong falsetto with ease, not to mention a perfectly nuanced vibrato in all the right spots as well. She has come a hell of a long way especially live. She now has that power and edge to her voice that is so important in this style of music.
