These songs reflected the anxiety and frustration from the COVID lockdown. My personal favorite album is Just Bring It. Most of the songs from this album are what I consider classic Band Maid, Mid to high tempo with very strong vocal melody.

You really need to checkout Hate live from their channel. They add a sick bass/guitar battle that is so much fun.

Band-Maid has this certain phenomenon thing going regarding their more progy-punk hard rock and Anime written tunes. These songs are hard, complex and will totally grow on you like a thousand pound R&R leech. The Maids in this format are relentless and powerful. Their “AniMaid” (anime) Covid-fighting "Unleash!!!!!" OMV and new battle gear is exciting, meaningful and classy! You should check it out! This was an EP, not a full album, so they did not think of adding flow to the songs, but made it straight hard-hitting mini-album. BAND-MAID is saying they will release a new full album this summer, probably in late August or in September, so hope to see changes in flow of the songs.

That was a cool commentary on what you thought of the album, as with everything that's subjective, folks will like different things. I also like the bluesy, funky side, but this album rocks hard, and it is what it is, and for ME, it's great as-is. I do understand your point, though, tastes... 👍😎

I completely surprised I really thought you would love Shambles and hate Balance. Shattering my expectations. And Sense was the 2nd one you heard and you hated it. I think it's because you learned how to listen to band maid and you started to understand them more
