Those cars i think are Jaguar and Cadillac. Funny things is that i saw some comments that said the cars represents the state of rock music in the UK and the US. When both cars get destroyed, it symbolized the end of life of rock music of both region. And Japan rock already took over the reign of rock music. 😁😁

I think it's called old luxury cars that look nice, but are cheap to destroy due to budget constraints. However, that analogy does work.

US and UK are the homelands of the rock music industry. I don't see the demise of the cars as strictly regional, but all about the OLD MODELS of the industry, expensive, overgrown, and controlling the artist, will inevitably crash and burn, wherever they are. That's why they are riding on the vehicles precariously. And they are now on the ground on their own feet when the old models destroy themselves and each other. Band-Maid has been moving in the direction of more artistic and financial independence this whole time. The Pigeon is a tough cookie.

Band-Maid is just creating music that was lost for 15-20 years IMO... I am not that much into metal, rock got almost ERASED, just maybe 4-5 bands that are doing hardrock, but all the songs are the same somehow, it sounds limited... Band-Maid have an "hardrock core", but mixing it with so many different genres it´s just a genre on it´s own. I am so happy i discovered them a long time ago and was able to see them grow, they improve more and more, they are absolute INSANE hard workers and on top off that are the most talented band i know... There are some other great Japanese girl bands, but I have to say I'm not sure if I 'love' any of their songs to the extent that I do 8/10 band-maid songs. I kind of like bratz and the the lead singer has a great rock voice but they sound very much like earlier band-maid. They are still very young so they may become the next big thing...you never know. Doll-box is also good, and of course there's lovebites... but My band-maid playlist already has nearly 80 songs (that exclude onset though) so I doubt if any other band can break that record.

This video was recently shot. Japan is this winter and this year is a heavy snowfall. The shooting was done in the rain , and it seems that it was really cold. Saiki singing in front of the flames of dusk is breathing white. The Budokan live on February 11th was canceled, but it was announced that it will be streamed live on the same day. Tickets will be on sale soon. It seems that it will be performed with the set list prepared for the Budokan live.

Who ever thought that the new definition of bad ass will be represented by 5 tiny maids from Japan. I mean - hello - standing on top of a moving car, playing guitar, thats quite brave. Band-Maid knocks most other hard-rock bands out of the pond for sure. They can just be topped by themselfs at the moment.

Every start of a Band-Maid Okyuji ("Serving", their term for live performances), they start out with a Maid SE Waltz followed by roaring guitars. I think they have 3 or 4 versions already. This whole album is just *chef's kiss*. These ladies just keep improving and upping their creative game. The whole new album doesn't have a bad song on it. Not many bands can make a claim like that. I think my favorites are "I Still Seek Revenge" for its insane bass work, "Afterlife" for its incredible fast-paced energy, "Giovanni" for its dark gothic feel, and "Black Hole" for it's chaotic and unconventional energy.

You can tell a great band by their latest release always being your favorite!! I'm happy that they are providing English Subs. Miku is highly respected in Japan for her lyrics, so for this western barbarian the subs are greatly appreciated. Now I can appreciate just how good her lyrics really are. I know that Saiki is writing with Miku but haven't quite figured out what is Miku and what is Saiki.

I've watched a number of your reactions(all great) & finally subscribed 2day only because you've definitely fell down the Band-Maid rabbit hole..! I listen to a lot of Japanese metal and rock. Not a fan of Baby Metal tho. The whole choreographed teenie bopper dance routine and vocals that don't go w/the power chords annoy me lol..but to each his/her own. In Band-Maid you get original music, talented musicians and a great show. I'd prefer they dump the gimmick outfits & go with skinny jeans and t-shirts but that's me. They're too talented for gimmicks. There's so many good rock bands in Japan now, its insane. Another of my favorites tho they split up was Story of Hope.
