I don't know why either the view counts stopped rising all of a sudden after reaching 880k or 890k. It still does count but slowed right down. There must be some kind of algorithm avoid counting multiple views by a same person. Chance is the same might happen to Zen now that it's already set a new record😢

Additionally, speaking of Zen, they are able to adapt their music and adjust lyrics for an anime created from an original story and not from a manga, which was difficult. Well, the way I look at it is that it, where would Band-Maid be if ALL their songs had a Official Music Video? They have many "diamond in the rough" songs, so because they are not in video format also they are never popular. I feel their popularity IS growing because of Anime, and just think where they could be if they sang in English too, they would be much closer to World Domination. But I like them right where they are.

tossing out a variable that would certainly push the ladies' trajectory -- a collaboration with hololive. this vtuber company has an impressive roster of virtual talents who can cover their songs / bring their catalog to a much wider audience -- suisei, kanata, risu, erb, gura, nerissa and the fuwamoco twins to name a few. [i remember in the comments of the twin doggos' livestream how they managed to bring in new listeners to the beastie boys after covering 'sabotage'. that was a delightful thing to witness.] and a neat bit here: i saw a couple of maidiacs who are also fond of this niche community.

I'm not sure that the band, especially Saiki, would go for having their songs performed by someone else and then representing Band-Maid with cute loli animation. I like hololive, and I thought the Dodger Stadium promotion was very cool. Having Gura sing Take Me Out To The Ballgame on the big screen was priceless. There were a lot of people trying to buy merch that weren't very happy, though.
