That's so funny and so cool to me also cuz the first time I watched this video I had noticed that and it made me love this song and version even more so than I already do, I was almost a little jealous too of these guys all jamming and being in rhythm together enjoying playing good music

This is by the far the most beauitful version of this song. The beautiful timing and delivery of it all is perfect. Makes it a lot deeper and more complex of a euphoric beautiful and sad feeling. Perfectly beautiful, well done!

The lyrics cut me deep from 1:36 to 2:17 My gf and fiancé of five years broke up with me impulsively and in a really fucked up way. She kept trying to pursue me, but it's over. Forever. We can't go back after what she did. It was too much, too many times. So I think of her when they say "All your life to think of what a mess you made" because she told me leaving me will be the biggest regret in her life. We been over for a year and she thinks about me everyday, everywhere. She even started doing drugs and drinking to numb the pain. "Dig a hole in the ground, for you wedding ring" to me is the perfect line because I gave her an engagement ring, she refused it, and then begged for it back over and over. But it was too late, she killed our love after what she did. It even feels like my best friend of five years died since she ran away, I feel a big void in my life. "Rainmaker call, throw your hammer down" We cried, and cried, and both cried. The hammer was when I told her to leave me alone for the rest of her life. I even had to threaten legal action. "And everything that I know, I can't remember now" Every memory I have is with her, so now without her everything is different. I feel like I lost purpose without her, and everything and everyday is strange. This song makes me sad thinking about true love lost. Even after a break up, you don't want to hear that person sobbing on the phone, but its the mess she made that she will have to live with forever. And now, just like when I met her she's in another loveless, abusive relationship with the guy she left me for. She's inherit, and inherited another one. She's attracts tragedy, and I might be sad but after a couple of heartbreaks from her I said "What I'm the world!" it really did take a tall one for me to see it.

@@pizzaofataco Sorry its so late, but I just came across your post. I hope you're doing better now. That’s a huge loss in your life and you feel like you don’t know how to live without the other person in your life. But you’ll manage, one painful day at a time. It helps me to remember not to idolize the other person, that is do not remember the perfect image of her, remember her warts and all. It sounds like you are doing that. Always remember the pain she caused and the loss of trust she broke. I hope you’ve been able to date again by now. And I don’t mean sleeping around, that’s not how you’ll truly heal. Even if you don’t feel like you can, put yourself out there and try to go on dates. You never know when and how you’ll meet your future wife. Only God’s grace, time, and one day a healthy relationship will be able to fill that hole in your heart. I won’t preach, but only a relationship with Jesus is the single most important relationship decision you’ll make in your life and will determine your eternal salvation. I hope you seriously consider these words. I’ll be praying for you. Wishing you only the best.

Take the mask off When you speak to me I'm alright to go on It's the little things Anymore, you've become Inherent on another one Another one I'm reeling in the wrong day it's gettin' to hurt Why didn't I think "what in the world?" It really took a toll, one to see It Two to believe it Three to just get in the way Woo hoo Woo hoo All your life you think of What a mess you made Dig a hole in the ground For your wedding ring Rainmaker call Throw your hammer down Everything that I know I can't remember how Anymore, yeah you've become Inherent of another one Another one I'm reeling in the wrong day it's gettin' to hurt Why didn't I think "what in the world?" All your life to think of, What mess you made, Dog a hole in the ground, For your wedding ring, Rainmaker call, throw your hammer down, Everything that I know, Can't remember now!!! So good, touching, and powerful lyrics in my opinion and I can relate so friggin' hard it's unreal

Except in this live version he says "didnt it hurt" which is a lot more personal and intimate than the oringal "gettin to hurt"
