I saw these guys for the 1st time on the Australian Tour at The Gaelic Club, Sydney in 2007 (Around then). I had never heard of them before and their $40.00 cover charge was a shock. They were the only band in the area and I liked the Support band Saab 67 so I paid the $40. 10 minutes into their performance and I was in musical heaven. I totally fell in love with their tunes and have been a fan ever since. After the gig I purchased $200 worth of merchandise including the CD which I had on repeat for the next 2 days non stop. An unbelievable out of body experience for me. 100 out of 10

I was just about to comment that I would bet he is trained in classical guitar. Most guitarists who finger pick do it with the side of their palm resting against the guitar but he has his hand raised above the strings and doesn't move his hand, just his fingers, which is the right way to finger pick taught in the classical style!

+Renee Spangler No one will ever you love you more than I do!!! Someone may be part of you, Oh but I know that I know that I do see and feel more than anyone...things splitting at the seams, tumbling into forever where no one could ever love you more than I do....I do, unto you... Living too long……by Terrance Hill I have lived this long, oh my foundation set in the sandstone tiers, Laid high sufficient to see the sky…Where I smell a stirring shift in the wind, It carrying a perfume sweet as the jasmine petals of summer, out past the rippling waves Our hallowed land that once stood… upon the bedrock of the sacred dying empires? Now, can’t you feel it fading? The long lapsed commands hurled out in tomorrow’s bidding… Don’t follow the rush and battered boards, an old world order’s basketball hoop, a faded red pavilion... Lays flat against the pole, rust has crawled up its length, a sparrows nest, a red ribbon flaps The cold wind snaps, theclanging flagpoles brass hardware against the grey pipe into the nightA new winter may be ascending more to societies unwanted, grey flannel dismay, To my surprise a crooked hall lined with colored mirrors, deciding where true evil dwellsNow we see what crossed us up on a fairer day long ago, the opinions did not consider new… I feigned a quick turn on an outside curb, disrupted by the fascinating, glare from the streetlights shining beacon, oh my, what a heavenly glow, my eyes have set my heart reeling, swimming through the sounds on a radio from a passing car, oh can you feel us set freely soaring … It is angels we’ve become, calling so we may find our way across the phantom scenery, and jasmine laced air… I can find my fatal ascension quivering, breathing so heavily, squatting in the corner… that sacred spectacle I have surrendered to once more, as hollow as a marsh reed… Who has the master key of fortunate destiny’s front door, the access to kingdom come, the palace of light…Here once was a glistening orb holding all of the dreams of mankind since time began its own steadfast pace to the universal tempo, what shining shoes that dancer wears, My heart’s on a long red string, my heads still spinning from all the advice,On that sweet notion, I’ll say this once, “don’t think twice…..The red rubber ball’s still bouncing like a lost lover’s heartWho will recite my eulogy in the end when the handful of friends has abandoned me again? And then you came with all the songs and flowers tied up with a single blue velvet ribbon……

+Renee Spangler Please pass anything I send you along to anyone you feel is struggling and feeling empty and lost...What we're here for is debated, but to me its quite clear...Thou wert the morning star among the living, Ere thy fair light had fled; Now, having died, thou art as Hesperus, giving New splendor to the dead…….Adonis - for John Keats, by Percy Byshee ShelleyMorning Star by Terrance Hill Oh half a life well contrived inside the many sepia colored walls of this pastoral kingdomThere the fallen angels rise to embrace the kind morning star fleeing the earth in the last of nightIt is out there my heart goes to wing, past wooden cross, under a summer’s pale full moon I stand alone on our shore, as the first sea birds wing to sandI hear a tune of the meadow larks song; I witness the spirits dancing there as children… Oh my lovely child why has the blue abandoned my eyes, So I wonder, and believe the smile once cast upon me, never livedIn the fury and blindness that’s pierced me, all along I’ve become an empty room of ashes, left for the wind entering the cracked window to scatter My Imagination is a Monastery and I am its Monk - you must explain my metaphysics to yourself. I am in expectation of Prometheus every day.”And the forlorn take solace in my arms, which were lost to me just a day as I dreamtOf the fields of my youth wherein milkweed grew tall, and the Starling’s feather tickled my nose My journey has cost but a pittance compared to the iron cauldron’s burning touchThe sun filled skies of autumn have laid down their blinding glare across the road and aftThese many pilgrims bound for kinder lands have found heroes to bind the causeAs heroes all gave a shout to the golden rod and wisteria I entered the forest’s narrow dirt path fired by an eagerness children practice Holding firmly, gently, the Childs trusting hand, concerned for deliveranceFrom a planets determined course, a navigator of swirling seas of sadness Breaking over the jagged slip of rocks, which broke many who sailed near their coveAn angry wind is forming, claiming devotion to compassion, yet all hatred burns a fast fireLo I am with you always, came forth the repentant cry, and departed into mist Once temple doors closed, and saintly faithful few stood accused of yesterday’s alien cry…A fading glory has passed across the doorsteps and guardian gates of the shimmering stairs to heaven have been replaced by invitation to enter the darkness untouched by a harvest moon’s soft glowing light…Nearly everywhere we have the opportunity to witness an expansion of love and our compassion have an impact and make a difference for everyone....pass the peace...

This is such a sincere and legitimate performance. Ben is such a true human, he speaks everything as it is. He is a true Sir. Beyond all that is the amazing music! (especially "No One's Gonna Love You") What a stunning show!

Love Ben. Saw B of Horses in Seattle at the Showbox market. pure joy and amazement. I felt the crowd's love for the band, like a version of watching Nirvana play.

The first time ever they performed Everything's Gonna Be Undone live was in my studio, São Paulo, Brazil, true story, using this same "on mic" technique by my suggestion

The singers voice is pretty crazy. He can almost effortlessly hit such high notes. Hit them and smoothly hit them. So good.

uma banda que venho seguindo desde 2006. E continua valendo me manter ligado aos seus novos trabalhos. A band that I have been following since 2006 and I continue enjoying their new projects . Just keep going autentic.

Poor fools. This is so much more then music. It truly is the purity of sound. We are weak and and can only witness a glimpse of perfection. So sad. Thanks for this recording as our recollection will hopefully only perpetuate the seamless greatness you had worked towards.
